Club 740

In Short – In the heart of the Broadway District, the former Globe Theater offers a three-story nightclub in a historic 1920s revival beaux-arts structure. Its main dance floor features gold-trimmed alcoves under protruding balconies, which feature plaster detailing, albeit with a Versace gold paint job. The club also offers two full bars, bottle service, go-go dancers and high-tech sound experience. Walls of glass separate private lounges on each loor, where VIPs show off their opulence at weekly electronica and hip-hop events.

Save Money:: Bottle service is surprisingly affordable by nightlife standards, often at around $150-$250 for premium champagne and vodka.
Know Before You Go:: Saturdays feature extended closing hours, often staying open until 4am to 6am, which is past the closing time of many area garages. If in doubt, park at the club.

740 Club is Crap!

The 740 club is the worst club in Los Angeles!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Absolutely avoid this place at all cost. The club is dirty and dingy with potential of contracting a disease from the dirtiness of this place. The club entrance is located in a dark alley. Parking is costly at 10 to 15 dollars. Security grossly exaggerate the seriousness of their job. The new year's eve gold package and platinum package for the night was a total ripped off. Let say buying a 40oz beer from a liquor store was a better deal, than this joke. Security was terrible, rude, unorganized, unprofessional, and look like a bunch of reformed gangsters. They constantly harassed people with their flash lights and hit on female guests. The club was low class with a consistent smell of weed throughout the establishment. Security was unable to resolve this situation and were more worried about harassing bottle service guest. The buffet dinner the club offered was a cheese and meat platter tray bought from Costco or something like it. A total joke not a buffet at all. The "party favors" were made out of newspaper material or something similar. The party hats were cheap and made out of construction paper. The blow horns were cheap plastic whistles. You would think that appropriate service would be given to the people who spend a lot of money on table and bottle service. However, the people who spent the least got treated better. Security were to busy trying to pick fights rather than maintaining order. The entire club was a disappointment starting from parking and entering the club. I will never again come to this disappointing club.

Really this place sucks...there are not cute guys at all only old dudes ugly ones!!! The restrooms do not have a sign of women either men so u pretty much have to guess which side is for females

..The security really sucks they do not know how to talk properly please read do not go!!!! But if you want to have a bad time go!

This Club has Potential, its big, not so crowded, and the ceiling show is great. However it doesn't go big on it's potential and draws back: First of all the crowd is lame especially some of the ladies (sorry) either get so drunk they pretty much "Rodeo" in the dance floor and VIP tables, like a strip bar. And since all guys assume that all ladies in 740 are that way, they tend to approach one as such that isn't. Alot of people here seem Promiscuous. Also the Bouncers!! Wow S.S.S. (Scumbag, Snotty Security) I know typical bouncers, but these guy go over board. They act like you're trying to get in Studio 54 in the 70's!! It's just a club!!! and a dump at that. I Hate this club, never going back!

Definitely Not A Sausage Fest!

I finally got a chance to check this place out last weekend and I've been wanting to go since I heard about it over the radio. I have to say It's a pretty good spot to check out. It's well ventilated so you're not smelling everyones funky A$$ and i'm pretty sure i saw a few bars so getting crunk wasn't complicated. If you're drinking a lot make sure not to hold your pee because the bathtroom line can get long. Anyway, the night I went was packed with Beautiful women. I think the guy/girl ratio was like 1 to 5 which was hella good. Definitely recommend this club; check it out and see for yourself...
