Promendade-front, modern looking sushi bar offers revolving "magnetic runway" for specialty rolls like lobster dynamite. Also teriyakis, curries.
not great

Went with my BF on a Friday night. We were seated pretty quickly in the most uncomfortable chairs I've seen in a while. Quality is not that great, not enough choices, wouldn't go again
- Pros: looks pretty
- Cons: bad seating
How old are you Will?

My dad is a sushi chef with 25 years of experience and he tells me that every restaurant gets the same grade fish....same freshness, and all have been frozen to clean the bacteria. Anyways, my point is, unless it is from the supermarket or maybe, Nobu.
So, my point is.... kaiten sushi is just as good as everyone, good price, greeeeeat music, and a hawt owner I never ever run into. If you're reading this WILL, stop slacking and come in to work instead of hanging out with the servers all the time. Boo ;)
- Pros: cool music.
- Cons: staff aren't too talkative.

i didn't expect it to be nobu, but ew. my friend and i walked in here for a quick lunch and stood around in the front of the restaurant waiting for the hostess to notice us. (it was practically empty) finally she noticed us and gave us a quick speech about their great prices and their student discount. we just wanted to be seated. the place next to us at the sushi bar still had dirty plates and glasses piled up from the last user and there wasn't a busboy in sight. i looked around and saw dirty plates scattered at other places on the sushi bar also. nasty. it took my friend a while to figure out the pricing scheme. there were only 3 different things circling on the revolving belt, which, for the record, is just silly. there wasn't even a sushi chef behind the bar. some things had condensation bubbles on their lids and had obviously been circling for hours. without any refrigeration method, things got hot quickly on the belt. i picked out a caterpillar roll and took a bite. not only was the fish obviously not fresh, it was lukewarm and i decided not to grab anything else off the silly belt, as there wasn't much choice anyway, and ordered a green tea ice cream. 10 minutes later, there was no ice cream to be found. i asked my hostess where it had gone and she claimed that the chef had made tempura ice cream by accident and it was coming. oof. i decided not to eat anything else for fear of death from lukewarm fish and asked for the check. it came, and we paid. i'll never go back again.
- Pros: good value, nice modern decor
- Cons: disgusting food, bad service, NO variety, pushy hostess
Very cool interior but so-so sushi

It's a beautiful, modern white little restaurant with cool invisible magnets making the sushi revolve. Take people who will appreciate decor like that and who like sushi but don't need it to be top quality...because this isn't. It's good an satisfying, just not the best sushi you ever had.
Try Looking Else Where!

I'm at least a bit interested in this place. The whole experience maybe be alluring, but all to be judged on the bases of food and the quality was a dissapointment. Creative enough, but no wow nor happy faces. Service so/so. Alright I'm not no chef, but the amount of times I've gone out to eat I know what is good. I'm one of the biggest food critics out there and have partnered up with many local magazines/ newspapers enriching the community about good food. And this isn't one for me at least.
- Pros: Parking
- Cons: Service & Food
