Nothin' but love.. Just went and promised to write a review because I thought that Kevin was so awesome. He took care of us immediately and took as long as we needed. He really made us feel comfortable and charged such a reasonable price that I had to drop a fatter tip than planned; it was that good. It is such a nice, clean relaxing environment and I am thrilled that I used Citysearch to find such a great artist.

This is THE place. After so many 5-star reveiws do you need to read another? Probably not, but I'm writing one anyway! I met Kevin a few years ago (while getting my hair cut at Old Glory Barbershop) and will not go to another shop now. Kevin is very cool, talented, and experienced.

I recently went to the new shop on Stanford for the first time and it's great! I took a friend with me and she was very needy and nervous--all the guys in the shop were so patient with her (she was driving ME nuts!) and tried hard to put her at ease. I'm a collector and I love going to see Kevin and Rex every time! They treat everyone with courtesy and professionalism, if you're a nervous first-timer or an avid collector.

All the artists I've met at Riptide--Kevin, Deke, Guillermo, and Rex who is occasionally there--take the time to help design unique and specialized pieces. They are great guys and talented artists. They take pride in their work and want their clients to be happy. Check out the website!

Oh, about parking....I had no trouble finding street parking.

Great experience, definately will come back !. I have been planning to get a tat since early high school but was always worried about the pain. I read about Kevin from Citysearch and took the reviewers' advices and got my first tattoo yesterday! It wasn't even close to being as scary as I imagined it to be in my mind! Kevin is very nice and funny, he made the experience memorable and I'll probably be getting my next tattoo from Old Glory too! Also, I like the setting a lot; other tattoo parlors are dirty and blast ugly music and don't really pay attention to the personal needs of the customer, but Old Glory is clean and very professional. Seriously, perfect place, and very reasonable pricing. I got a medium-sized tat on my shoulder and it only cost me 80 bucks which is cheap for LA area. Its only been a day and my tat looks beautiful and I barely feel a thing.

Kevin's Great. I had a tattoo that I got a while ago that I grew tired of and wanted covered up (you know, the stupid ones you get when you're young). I went to Kevin and he was so cool. I had an idea in my head and he let me know what would work and what wouldn't for the cover up. I loved the end result and I went back to him for my other ones and I plan on going back for more.

BEST TATTOO SHOP IN VENICE!!. I got my first tattoo with Kevin and he made me feel entirely comfortable.

He did an quick yet fantastic job and I'm planning on going right back to him the minute i get my next paycheck.

He is very professional (he's been doing this for 20 years) while most tattoo shops on the boardwalk aren't. He also give you a reasonable price :)

My friends who have a bunch of tattoos also came along with me and really liked the way he does his art and want to go to Kevin next time they get their other tats.

Can't get any better than Kevin @ Old Glory Tattoo!!!!!!!!!

Very satisfied customer. Highly Recommend.. I had a custom Grim Reaper inked on, 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be more pleased with Kevin's work. I felt comfortable in Kevin's workshop, and he is a really cool and interesting guy to talk to. He took his time and I will definitely return! I'm hard to please, but this place is a must for anyone considering getting quality work in the Venice area.

Incredible tattoo. Incredible experience.. My (4-day old) tattoo is even cooler than I hoped it would be. Talking to Kevin was great too. I am going back as soon as possible.

best place to get ur tattoo done!!. i had been searching all over the internet and asking friends for a good reliable place to get my first tattoo done, and after reading all of the reviews and also looking at the pictures of tattoos on the website, i decided to call up Kevin and make an appointment! The place is really cool and comfortable, i like that its a small place because it feels more personal and he was also really cool about showing me different options in sizes and colors for my tattoo i wanted. lol he was also really nice about having my friend in there taking lots of pictures of him doing my tattoo! i would definitly trust him and would want him to do my future tattoos and i've already recommended him to all of my friends also!

Personal attention. I came to this shop after reading all the great reviews on this site. Just as they said Kevin was different than alot of other shops. He took time out to talk and discuss the piece that I wanted and was able to add some details that I didn't even think of. I really liked that he has a private room which is quiet and we were able to collaborate. My tat is beautiful and I won't go to any other shop!
