Fuel is a Cheers for the artistic community!. If you're looking for a WeHo meat market...THEN GO TO WEHO. Fuel has finally learned to cater to its actual clientele...people who love to perform, enjoy films, live music and work in the entertainment industries who happen to be (mostly) gay. The staff is friendly, the bartenders know how to pour and the owner is an all around great guy. Unfortunately, the last owner (when the place was called Apache) ran things into the ground so badly and was so universally hated by both staff and clientele alike that it's been a tough road for Fuel to reclaim its business. But I urge you all to check it out for a wonderful alternative to the flashy WeHo same ole same ole. With karaoke a few nights a week, the uber-buzzed "Fame at Fuel" singing competition every Friday, I.D. night on Thursdays (your pro I.D. gets you discounts), live music and free barbecue on Sundays and a brand new New York-style show tune video night on Mondays (the ONLY of its kind in L.A.!)...there's always something interesting going on and the cover is ALWAYS cheaper than anywhere in WeHo, when there's a cover at all. And yes, for the die-hards they still have underwear night on Wednesdays AND dancing (complete with go-go boys) on Saturdays! Oh...and parking is free...it kinda stinks (you may have to walk a little), but still...FREE. There is optional valet on Friday and Saturday nights.

Awesome Underwear Night!. The best fun I have had in a while. Underwear night, you check in your pants and shirt, walk around in your tighty whities and you get $2.00 off of every drink all night long. I am definitely going back next week. Hot guys, no attitude, lots of fun.

In the words of Toby Keith, " I love this Bar" !. The 3 big "S"s apply to this place...Socialize...Sing and of course, the most important three letter "s" word is Sip...that's right I said sip... The drinks are great :-)

I really like the Karaoke and Fame Singing competition nights, but there's always something going on.....



The staff is fun and you can always meet a lot of interesting people to talk to or just chill with the other characters ;-)

I heard there is now live music and events on Sundays I need to check out.....

I don't even mind that I'm hangin in the valley !

I recommend you go, I wandered in by accident and now am a Club Fuel fan.

Good drinks, GREAT Staff !!!. Unlike most L..A. bars the bartenders at Club Fuel are not rude. The staff is friendly and interact with the customers. If you don't have an entourage...(but who doesn't), it's a great place to meet people and feel welcome by the bartenders. Now about the "burly bartenders" comment by one reviewer...If you mean they're not "Manorexic" then two thumbs up. Three cheers for the old classy Hollywood when men were strong and good looking and the women had class and beautiful bodies and the skeletons were all kept in the closet :-) Now it seems that it's chic for skeletons to roam the streets and frequent trendy clubs...Yikes, sounds like a horror movie..but I digress.

Back to Club Fuel...The staff are all good looking with gorgeous smiles! I would and will definitely make the trip back to the valley because of the friendly bartenders that know how to pour a good drink.

Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, I'm glad I walked in to this one:-)

I don't like this place at all!. There seems to be a cover almost every night for a CLUB in the VALLEY that doesnt have many people.

$5 is not worth it to get in.

You can;t see anyone when you approach the money guy, so you won't know that you're paying Five Bucks only to leave five minutes later!

The owners are way too stubborn to listen to what their clientelle wants there.

like one night of Kareoke! That used to be HUGE at that location!

but thats fine. I give it two years before the owners realize they only screwed themself.

I dont go, and insist my friends agree with me.

Great Bartenders!. Great place to hang and meet people, eveyone is very approachable. Drinks reasonable and you don't have to deal with WEHO traffic, prices, parking and attitude.

Great Potential on the Boulevard. Forget about WEHO----Fuel is great! it just needs a Hot Latino night with a AAA DJ who knows how to play hot music

How about Fridays?

Or Sundays?

Fuel will do great pretty soon

Fuel, needs it Saturdays!. I have been to several gay clubs/bars, this past saturday was the first time I stepped into Fuel. The cover price is awesome only 5 dollars, the drinks prices are great as well. But overall this club is a waste of space, and it has no purpose. Its a very small place, nothing stands out . The people who were there, were bores! Everyone was just sitting around the bar not really doing anything just sitting. The dance floor.. if you can even call it that.. was EMPTY!!! I think most of it has to do with the music. That DJ had the worst music rotation. Sure its cheaper to go to this club, money wise.. and well entertainment wise. It may cost more as far as parking, drinks, and the cover.. to go to WeHo.. but its well worth it! Club Fuel is BORING!

HOT HOT Friday Nights. Friday night's promotion is by far the busiest night at this place!!! From what I've been told, the promoter has been doing Friday's there since December, and has managed to tranform the crusty older crowd into a bevvy of young hotties! The club owners have helped by staffing the place with shirtless boys that rival ANY WeHo bar. Friday's have a dimly lit, "red light district" feel, complete with black velvet curtains throughout the place, red candles and lights, and the hottest crowd of guys you'll see here! I went two Friday's ago with some friends from out of town... I hadn't been there since summer... we sweat our asses off dancing with some of the hottest guys, and although it was packed, people didn't have the pretentious attitude like some of the weho places. I'm definitely making this a regular stop for Fridays!

i love this place. this place is so much fun! whenever we head to fuel we always have a great time. super fun dance music, hot dancers, and super friendly staff, plus it's totally low attitude and just a good time. if you've never been check it out. we've been there on thursdays (hot hot lesbian night-hope it catches on), fridays (fun dance night and hotties abound), and saturdays (super fun!). we're gonna check out some of the other nights and try to get down for a happy hour or two. the underwear one sounds fun!
