In Short
Located in a nondescript strip mall, the restaurant's understated entrance leads to a cozy main dining room lined with oversized booths and a long wooden bar. Imported light fixtures shimmer against ruby red walls left over from M-Bar, but with a carefree vibe that includes sought-after DJs and impromptu dancing throughout the week. The comfort food menu draw on elements of Latin cooking for creative concoctions like grilled paradilla (selection of meats), and imported chorzos sauteed with grilled vegetables.

We ordered a bottle of wine instead of mere glasses and the owner was stoked! We instantly felt like we were wth "our" people. The eggplant wrapped Salmon tapas were a perfect cold dish to start our meal with. The steak smothered in marinara and covered in ahm and cheese was better then expected. And in true Argentine tradition, the mashed potatos gave comfort on a cold night. They deliver locally, but I'd recommend stopping by. They have outdoor seating with heat-lamps and a great menu filled with variety. I can't wait to try more! Plus, they are very nice people!

I saw the other reviews and had good hopes. Unfortunately I was let down, the food took forever (how long does it take to make 1 empanada?? -45 min apparently), there was a piece of plastic in one of the dishes, the shrimp was undercooked, and the filet took almost 1 1/2 hours. Sure the sangria was tastey but there was no fruit in it. Even though the staff was apologetic and did the right thing when it came to the bill, I will not return and cannot recommend this place. Also, the place is not in the old M-Bar...M-Bar is still there, the place is on the other end of the strip mall.

I stumbled upon this restaurant with a friend after a film at the Arclight and it was fabulous! The food was great and inexpensive, the sangria was fabulous (and I'm picky!) and the staff was great. A newer place, they're looking to be open later so it's a great after movie/theatre/late night place. Great menu, great service and interesting decor...don't let the mini-mall location fool you. The only con is there is minimal parking in the lot, but we had no problem finding free street parking.I loved it and both of us have been return customers since then!
