Editorial Review for Red Corner Asia – by Randi Schmelzer
In Short
With flat-screen TVs, a blaring lite-rock soundtrack and glassed-in kitchen, this laundromat-turned-dining room caters both to neighborhood locals and an oddball array of hipsters and industry types. The menu, which spans an adventurous Asian-cuisine spectrum, offers standby starters like pork- and mushroom-stuffed angel wings, papaya salad, spareribs and seafood hot pots; more intrepid eaters opt for lemongrass-speared fish cakes and fried squid skewers. Entree highlights include crab pad thai and Volcano chicken, a house specialty.

The three dishes we got as first timers to RCA was Panang Curry Chicken, Angel Wings and Crab Pad Thai. I have to say all three dishes were excellent! We asked for spicy and indeed we got SPICY! RCA is a bit far for us but we will definitely make a worthwhile trip once a month to dine there. Best of all, we found a Thai supermarket nearby and we got our Thai Tom Yum Ramen. It's a must try for Thai food lovers!
Pros: Tasty authentic spicy Thai food
Cons: Not the best neighborhood in LA area

I've been to Red Corner Asia several times. The service is ok, however the foods are outstanding. I'd recommend the Crispy Duck Larb or Papaya Salad.
Pros: Late Dining
Cons: Unnecessary Valet Parking Service
