In Short – The celebrated husband-and-wife team have joined forces with "Sushi Nazi" Kazunori Nozawa (Sushi Nozawa) to create a modern Japanese izakaya. The Kappo-style menu--a sort of haute Japanese take on small plates--is organized by categories like salt and crunchy, raw, vegetables, bowls and mini-sweets. An extensive sake list and specialty cocktails complement meals. Predominantly designed by Myers, the luminous setting evokes the urban bustle of Tokyo, hosting 100 seats including a lounge, outside patio and two private dining rooms.
