The BEST!. They are the friendliest people i have met. They love dogs and love their job. Johnny and Tyler have helped me out of situations when i thought i had no other choice. They watch my dog when i am away, walk my dog every day, and have actually become friends through the process. They are wonderful! And anyone would be lucky to have their pet taken care of by them.

your dogs will love it. if you want a dog kennel that is safe and fun for your dogs: this is definitely the place All dogs are pre-screened for aggressive behavior. And beyond that, there is lots of supervision during group play to insure that things stay calm and friendly. The kennels they sleep in are clean and large and have runs. My one dog has dietary issues and they are careful with food. i also do not use a flea and tick repellent so they spray them daily (if you want ) for a small charge with a natural repellent. If dogs could choose a place to stay- this would be the place. My dogs get excited on the drive there .They are happy when they get there every time. I have never had a problem when I picked them up. It is a large fenced in place with grass and trees, etc. Safe as can be. They also have a large misting area and shade if it is a hot day. The owners have been training dogs for many years and my dogs (and I) were trained there. And the training actually stuck. They also explain why certain things work so you don't send the dogs mixed messages. My dogs come, sit, stay, heel when I ask. And if i say enough; they stop what they are doing. They are great with other dogs and never had a problem at the resort. i can go on vacation without worrying about them. And there is doggy day care too -if you need it.

Best Place to Board Your Dogs in LA!. I heard about this place from my vet and I have been taking my dog here for over a year. He loves it- bounds right out of the car every time I drop him off! I feel great knowing that he's having a good time while I'm on vacation. They are in a beautiful setting with tons of room for dogs to run and play. It's well worth the drive if you ask me! Great, dog-loving staff, plus they have one of the best rates around. My dog has several regular friends that he gets to see whenever he goes, so it feels more like a playdate than a kennel- almost like taking him to the dog park and being able to leave him there! The owners love dogs and own their own, so they really know what they're doing. I know my dog gets high quality care and lots of attention while he's there. I highly recommend them!

Best Dog Boarding and Training in LA. This is the best place that I have found in my to take my dogs for daycare, boarding and training, and I have searched all over LA. My dogs ( a shepard and a husky mix) have gone here for Daycare/socializing, extensive boarding and training since they opened and they love it ! I have one dog that used to not want to get out of the car when I boarded her at other places and would be very shy but she bounds out of the car and through the gates to the pet resort. Both dogs can barely wait to get out of the car and see all the other dogs and staff. Not only are the dogs excited to go to camp they are always happy when I pick them up!

The staff is very knowledgable and helpful, and there stye of training is completely in tune with the dogs. I have recommended the Pet Resort to several friends and clients who have very high standards for thier pets care. Everyone I have recommended to the Topanga Pet Resort has thanked me and been very happy with thier experience at the Pet Resort.

I love that I have found a place that I know my pets are having as good a time on vacation as I am!

DO NOT GO HERE. I used to go to this place. They have kids watching your dogs. My dog was bitten severely and they did not call me. They tried to stop the bleeding on their own. He required multiple stitches to repair his damaged ear. They go through staff like napkins. I never even got a call to see how my dog was doing! Take your animal to Canyon View - more expensive but you get what you pay for. Professional trainers, a stunning facility and constant supervision of your animal. Use The Pet Resort at your own risk!

Our dogs did very well over a long stay !. We just moved here from the east coast about a month ago. Our company put us up in a place that did not allow pets, but we have a great dane and a lab. We searched the internet and found Topanga Pet Resort, whose picture gallery looked really wonderful. We were nervous about our dogs being in Los Angles and not having anything but concrete ! Were we wrong !

They survived their month - we recently picked them up and they weren't even mad at us for leaving them so long !

Trained our unruly newest pet !. We have been going to Topanga Pet Resort for over a year. First we had our mid size dog who did very well there. Then we adopted a very small dog, who was so precious to us because she was small. She has a great time playing under the oak trees that are in the small dog yard ( which is actually quite huge for such small dogs). Anyway, recently we adopted a matching dog for our small dog and lo and behold, this one is quite unruly and needed and needs quite a bit of training. We called Topanga Pet Resort and were very impressed with the improvements in our newest puppy after training!

We highly recommend this place for any doggie needs !

Great dog training and boarding experiences!. We just picked up our dog after her Thanksgiving stay and she was happy to see us, but after she settled down and we tried to take her to the car, she kept looking back at the play yards where her dog buddies were still playing!

In October, our dog had completed her basic obedience three week training at Topanga Pet Resort. We were at our wits end with this puppy we had tried to train ourselves, but with this training and the home visit that is included, we have learned how to handle her so that all of us are a lot happier! Their Trainer, Victor, and supervisor Keith, who is a Guide Dog instructor, have extensive training experience and their tips were invaluable. The facility has a huge yard for training the dogs, as well as a number of fenced in yards for dogs that are boarding. The staff is very professional and friendly and the grounds are well kept and very clean. The boarding facility is very clean and provides lots of room, both in-doors and out-doors for dogs boarding there.

Our dog loves this place !. Our dog used to resist getting out of the car when we had to take him to a kennel in the past. Then we found Topanga Pet Resort last spring and now he bounds out of the car because he is happy to go to this 'camp' where he gets to play with the other dogs in the yard for hours every day. The staff is very helpful. We had to go thru a 'meet and greet' which 'Simon' passed with flying colors - we even got to watch it on the webcam. The place is thorough about making sure the dogs have current vaccinations etc. also, which helped us feel more relaxed. We haven't found very many places for this price with so much playtime with other dogs in the beautiful outdoors, such as Topanga, in our searches for a home away from home for our Simon!
