Never before have I ever felt compelled to write an online review for a service I received. But WOW--Alyson is amazing! Alyson spent an extended amount of time discussing both what I wanted and what I needed before even mixing colors or breaking out the scissors. She listened to me so intently, I knew I had made a wise choice coming to her. I have never felt so at ease in a salon or more confident in a stylist. She knew exactly how to cut my super fine hair and gave me the most gorgeous, natural highlights EVER. My hair has style--finally!--and the color is so perfect for me, it doesn't even look like I had it "done," it just looks great! It's exactly what I wanted. Alyson is a master stylist and a true artist. The receptionist and the other stylists were also very friendly and helpful while I was there. The salon is quiet and tranquil, and I parked right in back without a problem. All in all, hands down the BEST hair experience I have ever had. I don't spend money lightly, but having Alyson do my hair was the soundest beauty investment I've made in a long time. Thank you, Alyson!

Having created the award show gift basket and lounge industries, I have many, many great haircuts by the country's top stylists. As my favorite LA stylist had recently moved, I was looking for someone new. I had tried three stylists and didn't like the cuts I had gotten, they weren't fresh or new and they didn't seem to fit my face either. One day, I read an ecstatic review from a friend of a friend about Alyson, which "spoke" to me! The review mentioned how much time Alyson took to get this woman's haircut just right, how Alyson had asked her lots of questions and then had spent time to look at the face of the woman to gain perspective on how her hair grows. Okay! Just weeks before going to see Alyson, I was lucky to get 10 minutes (for a $450 cut) with a top stylist who ran his fingers through my hair and told me I had the best hair he'd seen - only 10 minutes for the best hair you've ever seen?! Anyway, he snipped away like I was a mannequin, barking prima donna orders at his assistants the entire time, whereas Alyson cut and hummed and swooned over me like I was a valued human being. I love what she did and I get lots of compliments on it! I have found my new stylist!
