In Short – Owner Phillipe Chow honed his skills at the famed Mr. Chow before striking out on his own. At his new digs, patrons share satays and spring rolls on leather couches in the lounge, while more upscale consumption occurs at white cloth-covered tables in four distinct dining rooms. Entrees like drunken sea bass and velvet chicken are designed for two or three people, as are the prawns, served in pink, black, white and green renditions.
No Complaints - loved it
by abraz
I had the crispy beef, prawns, lettuce wraps, veggie dumplings, sea bass (best I have ever had, period), red velvet cake, sorbets (no sugar added) -- drank two Phillipini's (delicious)! Prices are not cheap, but for the extra few bucks it is worth it - in fact, for the scene alone it is worth it - get ready for some serious people-watching - most of all though, the staff was very genuine and welcoming (didn't expect that) . I will be thinking about last night's dinner for a long time - very memorable - we even got to meet Chef Phillipe Chow himself - he made the rounds and greeted the guests...
- Pros: food, scene, staff
