Relaxing and Amazing! – I am so lucky to work so close to thr Lounge Spa!
The whole staff is very friendly adn informative. I just had a massage this past week and OMG it was amazing. Not only was the massage amazing they gave me some tips on skin care while I was there and even offered me some samples!! Usually the therapist tries to upsell you a bunch a stuff you still never use, but not thid place! YAY.
I cant wait to go back, maybe a facial next time !
Great service, relaxing – I had a great massage here. First, the wonderful room - relaxing, great lighting, nice pillows, sheets - so soothing. my massage was great. favorite part was the heated pads they placed on my back and feet at times. the service is wonderful - friendly, not snobby at all.
I am going w 4 stars bc my friend who went with me said that they didn't massage her arms, hands or feet at all! how bizzare! still she really liked the massage, but was sad to miss some of her favorite parts.
Great Customer Service, Wonderful Treatment and Personable Staff – If you're looking for a some good pampering without all that snobbiness, go to The Lounge Spa! I took my boyfriend there last week for his birthday and we had the Make It a Double Couple's Suite. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, we got nothing but great service from the staff there. We started out with the Elixir Tonics (Berry and Peach) which were not bad at all I guess depending on your taste buds. Shortly, after that we were guided to our separate locker rooms. Once we finished getting ready, we sat in their waiting area. The Lounge Spa was nice enough to have a little Happy Birthday sign for my boyfriend which was really sweet. The ladies that did our massages were really awesome and sweet. I was worried that they weren't going to be able to get any of the kinks out but they definitely exceeded our expectations even my boyfriend who's normally very picky about his massages. After our 50 minute massage, they had a little birthday cake for him which again was very nice of them to do. I don't know of very many places that would go out of their way like this and for only $120 for both of us. Normally, we would have to pay $120 per person and get a bunch of snobs who would not even bother with all the little perks unless you paid extra for it. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good customer service, affordable prices and excellent treatments. Maybe next time we'll try one of the Happy Hour packages. Thanks again ladies for starting my boyfriend's birthday off well! We had our doubts but you guys exceeded our expectations. Oh, and just a piece of advice to anyone who goes there...make sure you turn on Washington Blvd. and NOT Washington PLACE! We made that mistake coming off the 405!
Very Nice Experience – My partner purchased a facial and massage for my 45th bday in April. This was my first "Professional" experience in facials and massages and I tell you, it was absolutely the best! Everyone was very nice & professional!! Only one small complaint.....I have facial hair and when I told the girl who did my facial about it, she never explained that it would cost extra to have it removed. I thought it would be part of the facial (remember this was my first time) but when she was finished I asked if she was going to remove the hair and she said no, it's extra and walked out the room!! But other than that.....I am looking forward to going back, very soon. I wish I had enough money to treat my mother's caregiver! She deserves it!
From the Business Owner – Our 1 Star review on Horrible Customer Service would not of happened if the customer had mapquest or put the right address before driving. As the owner, I appologized that she had driven so far and as matter of fact very flattered that our customers would be willing to drive from far just to come to our spa. But traffic, road conditions and accidents are beyond everyones control and we completely understand. If we can extend or move late appointments to still accomadate our clients, we would be willing to do whatever it takes. But, VALENTINE'S Day Weekend. It was beyond our control. However, I won't be responsible to find out that they wrote the wrong city and zipcode and ended up in Whittier, CA when we do state Los Angeles, CA.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – The Lounge Spa ruined a Valentine's surprise.
In order to get to the spa, which is difficult to get to if you are from the Los Angeles Area or farther North, I had to take the 101 to the 60 to the 605. My appointment was at 5:30pm, and I left my house at 3:30pm. I got stuck in traffic on every single freeway. I got off the freeway and start taking sidestreets. I get back on the freeway when it's open. Traffic starts again.
I struggle with traffic for 2 hours, inching my way closer to the spa. It is now 5:30pm. I get a call and it's from the "spa". I tell them I'm running a little late, "Im stuck on the 605". She said I was an hour away and that I wouldn't be able to make it there by 6pm. I asked her if there was any way I could be allowed to come in later, since I was stuck in traffic. She said "no", she was completely booked and that they were still going to charge me. I asked if there was anything that could be done and she said "no" again. I just sat, thinking of a solution, and she ends the call with, " I have to take this other call now". We hung up and I just started crying in my car in disbelief, still stuck in traffic and tried to find a way to get back home. I was never reassured, not given any compassion by the woman on the phone, it was business and that was it.
I lost out on $200+ dollars and 2 hours of driving time and gas. I didn't get any positive feedback or customer service, and my Valentine's day surprise amounted to nothing but a horrible experience from just another "business".
Thanks for nothing. I'm not recommending this place to anyone, ever.
great value, cute place – soo cute and soo cheap
this place was so enjoyable. the staff is so friendly and the place is decorated so cute. for a $50 massage for an hour, i was expecting something seedy but this place is adorable with mood music, nice facilities, a cute gift shop, refreshment section, cute waiting area, etc...
we had a couples massage and it was great! the room was great.. not claustrophobic like others can be. great massage.. my lady really worked my back!
i've had massages at ritzy hotels and cruises, and this place was definitely comparable, and you can actually relax during your massage knowing how you're not blowing your budget!
Best spa for parties! – The Lounge Spa is definitely a place to have a party! We had part of our friend's bachelorette party there and their services, from start to finish, couldn't have been better. They've streamlined the whole event planning process, making it so easy on the hosts. Our room was decorated to fit our theme, down to the adorable martini glass votive holders. Their spa menu has something for everyone, and with such reasonable prices, you'll be back for your next visit before you know it! We couldn't have asked for a better way to end our weekend and they've made fans out of us!
Going Above & Beyond Makes All The Difference! – My friends and I threw a surprise birthday party for our good friend and what an experience we had!! All of us were so impressed with the personalized service Alice and her staff provided us. From the framed, customized sign to the boa & tiara and the cupcake stand, they really went out of their way to make us feel special! Being in the special events industry myself, I notice the little details and really appreciate it when it all comes perfectly together. And the icing on the (cup)cake is their affordable pricing. Their treatment pricing is very reasonable ($50 for a 50 min. massage or facial) for what they offer and allows us to feel pampered without breaking our piggy banks. We hope The Lounge Spa continues to offer great pricing and personalized service for years to come! I will definitely be sharing my Lounge Spa experience with all my friends and they can count on us being there again soon!
Horrible Eyebrow Waxing – I read all the great reviews about this spa so I thought I would try it for my eye brow waxing instead of driving all the way to Beverly Hills. Sharah ruined my eyebrows. One side she took off more hair than the other. She took away the arch. One of my friends said my brows look masculine. She was nice but does not know how to wax brows.
