Just Received Our Couch - Beautiful!
by andreaDelina
I?ve been waiting to report on my experience with IdentityCraft until I received my couch. It came last weekend and we totally love it. We purchased their Alexis sofa with a beautiful chenille fabric and down feather cushions and pillows. We were comparing it to one that we liked from Pottery Barn, but found the one from Identitycraft much more comfortable and less expensive. My husband is 6?2? so we custom made it extra deep. It?s by far the most comfortable couch we?ve ever owned and it looks just like the one from Pottery Barn. Will definitely return to Identitycraft for all of our furniture purchases.
- Pros: Similar furniture to other expensive stores, great construction.
My Secret Weapon for Home Decor!!!
by LisaPrincessa
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...Did I mention LOVE Identity Craft. My brother and sister-in-law bought all their furniture from IdentityCraft and insisted that my husband and I decorate our home from there. They have a gorgeous home that is ALL furnished by IdentityCraft and looks amazing. At first my husband was a bit overwhelmed by all of the choices of stains and fabrics, but then he totally got into it and is now obsessed with home decor. We had so much fun shopping at IC. Sheryl was fantastic and put up with all of indecisiveness. My home looks amazing. My friends and family are blown away when they come over. Things we bought: Wilshire Bedroom collection and Karma Bed, Niles Sofa and Chair and Theodore Plasma Stand. Everything is perfect. Price was great and the quality was fantastic. We'll be back for our dining room in a few months.
- Pros: Price, Quality, Style, Options
- Cons: Faraway location, wait 6 weeks
Poor choices on my part, poor quality and didn't last long.

When my husband and I bought our first house three years ago, we wanted to have new furniture and get rid of our hand-me-downs. I went to Identity Craft and thought it'd be fun to pick out the style and fabric for a couch and chair. I was influenced by Pottery Barn and chose an almost identical design and some butter duck canvas fabric. WHAT A MISTAKE!
First of all the fabric choice was terrible, since it's light in color and shows every spot it gets, even though we paid extra for the fabric treatment. I've even had all the cushion covers drycleaned, but the stains did not come out. Secondly, the cushions are permantly flattened where my husband sits the most, even though I paid extra for "extra firm" seat cushions. I turn the cushions around back and forth, front to back every month, but they still stay flattened especially at the corners.
Here's the bottom line, go to a store, where you can sit on your furniture and see it in the fabric you will buy. Buy a patterned, nubby fabric, especially if you have pets and kids. There are no returns at Identity Craft, so now I'm stuck with a couch and chair I hate, they look dirty and wrinkled all the time, and the seat cushions are not comfortable since they are squashed in many places.
I got carried away with the looks at Pottery Barn, but didn't consider how realistic that choice would be.
It wasn't.
- Pros: Furniture looks good in showroom. Lower prices than Pottery Barn.
- Cons: Furniture doesn't hold up to use. No returns. Poor quality materials. No wonder it's cheaper.
