Editorial Review for Saints & Sinners – by Michael Martin
In Short
Straight out of "Boogie Nights," this Culver City lounge mixes elements of naughty and nice to create a kitschy-fun drinking experience. Following along the theme-bar lines of owner Bobby Green's woodsy Bigfoot Lodge and batty Little Cave, the retro-inspired space incorporates an illuminated circular fireplace, buttoned-vinyl ceiling and oyster-shell chandeliers above a baroque-cupid flanked bar. Guests sprawl among snuggley furniture set against furry velvet walls, or groove to a mix of modern house and classic rock inside the rear alcove.

Insider Tips
Save TimeThe bar is small and the DJ scene very popular on weekends--plan to arrive before 11pm to avoid a wait in line.
What to DrinkDepending on your mood, try the Hell Fire (flaming cinnamon liqueur shot) or Holy Water (vodka-infused shot) cocktails, both expertly mixed and reasonably priced.
Know Before You GoTwo separate lounge areas are available for private parties and events, but must be booked in advance.

Been going there for years.... on Mondays..wednesdays...sometime even on thursdays. It's a good BAR...don't expect glitz and glamour..but if you just wanna go to a bar with friends....try it out.

My husband is into visiting anyplace that has a 'cocktails' sign. We have driven by S&S plenty of times without knowing what it was called or what was inside. On a Sunday evening we were driving back from Bev. Hills and I said to him, "just pull over so we can finally go in this place." We're SO glad we did! It was rather empty (one other couple) but we got to chatting with the staff and had a great time. Before you knew it, two hours had passed and the bar was rather full. We'll certainly return soon.
Pros: Can go on off times to get to know people and avoid the crowds
Cons: The fireplace wasn't on.
