Pasadena >Lodging > The Bar at Langham-Huntington
amazing decor, magnificent grounds, beautiful style hotel, flat place, good food
Drinks were delicious.
What's not to like about the Langham, well for one it's way expensive. But I guess that goes with the territory. The place is gorgeous. It's odd to think that there's this fantastic hotel right in the middle of all these houses. It used to be a Ritz Carlton I guess.
It's a beautiful place with a fantastic bar. The drinks are delicious. I had a traditional mojito and a peppermint martini. They were fantastico! But pricey, but I guess I already said that.
Editorial Review. Swanky hotel bar inside the Langham Hotel featuring comfortable elegant furniture, balcony overlooking sprawling garden and world class jazz and blues.
Pasadena's classic hotel spices up the Lobby Lounge with a contemporary wine and martini bar, gourmet bites and sophisticated crowd..
The Lobby Lounge--former grand entrance to the historic Huntington Hotel--remains host to traditional Afternoon Tea, but its romantic palm-swept valley views have been updated with Thai rugs, leather club chairs and a sleek black granie bar. Fanciful cocktails like lavender lemonade and ginger lemon drops are stirred and shaken; there are also a full range of liquor, wine and apertifs. Haute-inspired bar food includes shrimp cocktail with jicama mint salad, seared fois gras, and grilled mini Roquefort burgers.
