YES to acupuncure

I had a severe neck pain on the right side of my neck after returning from several long flights and always looking down at the computer. I haven't had acupuncture before, but after having 5 massages from many different places I turned to it. Dr. Won is an amazing doctor who definitely knows what she is doing when it comes to acupuncture. After talking to me to asses my problems she led me to a very clean calming room where I received my treatment followed by a 15 minute massage. After about 5 treatments I was completely cured. I am so thankful that i can now move my neck with ease and definitely recommend acupuncture for those who have pains that simple massages just won't cure.

I’d rather be an idiot by giving the masseur five stars ^^

I’ve been getting massages since my job requires me to sit down most of the day causing me pain around my shoulder and neck area.

My friend referred me to this place and I started getting massages from Hans and it cured the pains I had with the different style of massaging that I’ve never experienced before.

He definitely understood the problems in my body structure.

The places that I felt pain mostly were at my neck and shoulder but he started by treating my low back and knees, which I was surprised at first but amazingly the soreness was gone completely.

He taught me the proper posture when sitting down while warning me that the pain might come back unless I correct my posture, even though it feels alright for now.

Also the stretching he taught me felt somehow familiar to ones I’ve seen before but a bit more fitting to my body type. He’s also pretty good at letting your muscles relax, so just ask him for it, if that’s what you want.

If you were expecting for the soft massage with oil which you can get anywhere else, you’re wasting his and your precious time because that kind of massage is all around.

No matter what you expect, he will give you more than that.

The room was a bit messy…

but I highly recommend Hans !!!

TJ is no longer there

The reason I booked a massage here was because i read the great reviews about TJ.

please note, TJ no longer works there.

DO NOT get a massage here!!!

AWFUL. worst massage i've ever had. left me in pain the next day. I would be shocked if this guy was actually certified in any way. I've had better massages from guys trying to impress me. Tall gangly Korean guy with the grace of a hippo. He grabbed my limbs and flopped them around and jerked them into place instead of moving them gently.

Dug his fingers into my skin, working an area until it was sore. Didn't understand English. Rubbed his hands back and forth across my spine like he was scrubbing a tub. Flitted around like he had ADD, no progression from head to toe.

It was so bad and painful that I told him to stop and got up and left. I was afraid he was physically going to injure me. It was anything but relaxing. When i came in, i had no pain, but the next day i was sore all over.

When you see an ad for this place, RUN, do not walk, in the other direction

The Worst Massage Ever

My lower back was killing me so I purchased an appointment through Groupon for Sunrise Medspa.

It was the worst massage I've ever had and I've had plenty.

I flinched as his finger nails dug into my skin and when his massage was pinching my skin, he asked me what was wrong I asked for some massage oil.

He left the room for a few minutes with the door wide open and returned to squirt cold moisturizer directly on my back.

He proceeded as if he was scrubbing a car, climbed onto the massage table with his crotch against my leg and left the room twice more with the door open again.

He wet a towel in the sink and dripped water on my head before washing off the moisturizer.

When he finally started massaging the sore spot on my lower back I said, "that's it, thank you," in Korean and he said he was a Mexican from Argentina and went on to 'massage' or should I say 'scrub' areas unrelated to my pain.

Each area consisted of 2 or 3 strokes here and there as if he had ADD.

After the massage was over he insisted on teaching me ridiculous exercises. I just wanted to run out the door.

I asked him if he spoke Korean and he said he WAS Korean.

He was really creepy.

A total amateur!

I wound up with bruises on my spine from his scrubbing directly on my spinal column.

Save your money and avoid this insane torture!

I can't believe all the 5 star reviews, they must be either fake or written by idiots.
