great fresh salads, great place, very reasonable atmosphere friendly prices, great clean atmosphere, love tender greens, nice service, fresh quality ingredients
Pretty good food. Their grilled veggies are pretty good! The location is nice, parking's always available. Also, their bread is great! This is where we always drop by when we can't decide on what to eat.
custom made goodness. GREAT PRICES, very clean/ friendly , parking is always around, ingredients fresh as anything, and they brought back the oliver-oil crunchy bread
Wonderful restaurant, neighborhood feel. Good neighborhood feel, I like West Hollywood one best.
Great healthy food!.
I'm not a health food person AT ALL, but Tender Greens is a great place to eatsome REALLY tasty, yet healthy food. Try the Albacore Tuna Sandwich, it's great!
The patrons there are an eclectic mix from the West Hollywood Area. From people in suits to jeans and t-shirts. Right in the heart of We-Ho, I would highly recommend Tender Greens!
Salad of the Gods.
There are few places that can make my mouth water from just a memory, Tender Greens is one of those rare place...and they sell salads!
The ingredients are amazingly fresh and even a "simple" salad can fill up the most ravenous of diners. My favorite is the butter lettuce with taragon dressing with the addition of seared albacore. Delish!
Not into salads? Try any of the healthy meats as a sandwich or plate.
Worst dining experience in years. Went with a friend, got Chinese chicken salad, and flank steak plate, with "aguas frescas". Salad greens were not fresh, limp, some of the chicken pieces were a disgusting grey color. I don't like a lot of dressing on my salad, but even for my taste, the salad did not have enough dressing. Typically, Chinese chicken salads have almonds, they use cheaper peanuts. Also for the price, the portion was very small. The flank steak plate was a few small slices of meat, 2 small scoops of instant mashed potatoes and a rock hard stale piece of bread. My friend wanted soup instead of salad with his dinner, and had to pay another $2 for the substitution. The soup was ok, but for those health nuts, the chicken in the soup had skin on it. The "aguas frescas" are artificially flavored, over sweatened from mix. Fresca mean "fresh" in Spanish, and aguas frescas are supposed to be fresh fruit pulverized in water, lightly sweatened. Pineapple agua fresca should have small pieces of pineapple in the drink. If you want to try REAL aguas frescas, try El Gallo Giro (several locations in southern California), but be warned if you think the junk at Tender Greens is good, unless you are a Kool Aid or soda pop junkie, you won't like their drinks after trying the real thing. Final analysis: Overpriced, not fresh, poor quality.
fresh healthy food fast and at a good price.
I love tender greens! just the agua fresca is enough to keep me coming back every other day. The have the best mashed potatoes too!
