Great customer service and style. Kari is such a lovely woman. She takes the time to address concerns and takes into account your routine and the amount of effort you would normally put into your hair. Everything is purely one-on-one and in no way uncomfortable. She was also extremely accomodating in scheduling.

Heaven On Earth. I've always believed that actions speak far more effectively than words. Yet, I can't help but express my gratitude to Ms. Kari J. Cook in writing for giving me a haircut that was absolutely worth the flight from from Madison, WI to Los Angeles. Not only did I feel like a million dollars afterwards (thanks to her perfectly in tune touch, the truly soothing music that you would never find outside of her private salon and the fact that she cared soooo much about my cut), I also received several compliments from people once I got home that led to some especially fulfilling and enriching connections. I'm grateful, satisfied and glad to recommend her service to anyone who wants an experience that truly feels like Heaven on Earth.

Great Stylist. Kari is a wonderful stylist. I have recommended her to several friends who have had the similar positive experiences I have had. Although she is over two hours from me (LA traffic), I'll trade the long commute for the great cut experience and results she always delivers.

Carefree, Yet Stylish Hair!. Kari has styled my hair for more than 5 years. I have always recieved the best hair care possible from Kari. While my hair style changes from time to time, Kari always ensures that I will not need to spend more than 10 minutes on my hair, and she's right! She really provides carefree hair!

Kari J. Cook Hair Designs. Kari is a marvelous artist and brings that to her work. She is passionate for hair, and her work shows it! She has such a keen eye for what fits a person and she is a perfectionist which is a great thing for the client. She's open, playful and warm hearted. Her skill ranks up with the most famous of hairdressers. She's a real find. I highly recommend her.

The Best Holistic Hair Designer In West LA!. I've been going to Kari since 1997 and counting! She is the ONLY hair designer that knows how to cut long natural curly hair without missing a beat! She's very holistic in her ideas of how your hair could look and she's the only one that can cut, highlight and play with my hair! I allow her to do whatever comes natural to her! And I'm always 100% satisfied! Her private studio is very cozy and getting her one on one is the best part. Kari listens to your every word and if you allow her to, she can offer you the most amazing point of view. She's the most warmest human being God has ever sent in my direction!

Now I just wash, towel-dry and brush my hair. I used to wait until my hair was really long and becoming a bother before getting it cut because afterwards it wasn't just wash and wear either. Kari went the extra mile to make my hair really easy to care for. In the weeks since, it's still easier than before. Kari's warm, a real sweetheart. Thank you Kari!

A talented hairstylist with heart!. Kari is everything I've been looking for in a stylist! I am so pleased with what she has done for my hair, I actually trek out to her studio in Culver City from my loft in Downtown ON THE BUS FOR 1.5 HOURS just to see her. She is able to effectively communicate with her clients and put together a definitive style plan--no nasty surprises after!-- even if you walk in without really knowing what you want. She will take into account your hair's own personal little quirks and will go that extra mile to understand what does and doesn't work for you. She is indulgent of the most minute of one's hair neuroses and will put in the effort to make sure you leave her studio looking AND feeling beautiful. The result is a stylish, up-to-date design that derives from (but isn't a slave to) current hair trends and complements your features and personal style.

Kari's warm demeanor and her confidence in her work will put even the most jaded client at ease. She is courteous, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend her services.
