Nothing Special!!. NOT THE BEST...stick to your bread and appetizers!

Food was bland, no unique flavor...try a frozen meal at the frezzer section of your local supermarket first! Otherwise, open your wallet and let them take you for a ride.

Service...ok, but one you have one server for about a dozen tables just don't expect anything special. Server didn't even notice that he had serve water in a broken glass! Oouch!

$$$...to pricey for what you get, stick to having a drink, bread and an appetizer then head out to another restaurant for a great meal!!!!

Not the Bono's I remember.... Loved this place for their steaks and wines! NOT ANY MORE!!! All the steaks have been removed from the menu and their wine list is terrible!!! Good food and great service!!! BUT... who is the guy walking around with the hat? What a MORON!!! He kept coming to our table and interrupting our conversation, but my main complaint is he hugged my child and "reeked" of cigarettes!!! He's gotta go.... I use to be able to eat in the smoke free patio... NOT ANY MORE!!! Not smoker free anymore???

I loved the gray haired gentelman at the door... NOT ANY MORE??? Now there is a short man that contantly annoyed us thru our dinner. Don't trust the wine menu online, nothing on that list is available???

unique fine fare. Unique fine dining which pertains to both its original dishes and its classics. Very nice steak and pasta that is cooked just right every time i have eaten there. Good service too!

Mediocre. Three of us went to Bono's on a Saturday night without reservations. The hostess (who was wearing jeans and a t-shirt) told us she did not have any tables available inside but she could seat us outside on the patio. It was December and cold out. We asked if it was warm and she said " Yes, the heaters are on." Well the heater were not on and it was freezing out there. So cold, the waitress did not even want to come out there to wait on us. As we stared through the glass at 3 empty tables, we finally asked our waitress if we could move inside. She immediately moved us to an inside table. The cocktails were great, the food was a little above average but the service was lacking. It seemed the young waitstaff had more interest in giving their attention to the young customers at the bar than to customers seated at the tables. Our bill for 3 people including tip came to $275.00. I definately expect higher standards for that amount of money. Not sure I will be going back.

Elegant dining. A guy if you want to impress your date then this is the place to take her. The decor is elegant whether you sit inside or outside. It's a great place to have one on one time and good conversation. There's a good wine selection and the food is absolutely superb. Order the Oyster appetizer, you won't regret it.

pricey but tasty. i do really like it here, but i only go there as a treat for myself. the lobster, papaya salad with a mojito makes a great lunch. there's a chocolate brownie dessert that i like to get with their chocolate port- so good! try it out. it's one of the only places on second st that serves food and has a full bar. it's impressive, take a date there.

Food and Service. I just at at Bono's for the first time. I was pleased with the quality of food. Not extremely inventive as I may liked, but definitly consistant in quality. As for the service, I did not have the most attentive server. I had lunch on a Tuesday, which you think would be great, yet we waited quite some time just to get our first drinks (soda) and forever to get our bill processed at the end of the meal. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I'll still try again.

New Favorite. Bono's is literally on the corner of my street and has become a favorite dining destination for my wife and I. The staff from management to the bussers is welcoming and attentive and the food is always top notch. I recommend dining during the early part of the week as the weekends tend to be on the busier side. Make sure to say hello to Christy's son who is the host at the front door. We give it high marks all the way around.

Editorial Review. Belmont Shore restaurant serves an eclectic Californian menu of lobster fettuccini, NY steak caprese and crabed stuffed trout.

Nice Surprise. My husband and I finally decided to give Bono's a try and were pleasantly surprised at our terrific experience. Our server Shawn was attentive and full of suggestions. Our food was timely and most important delicious. The dining room became a touch loud but didn't hinder our experience. We'll be back.
