An Amazing Night!

The employee's there were fantastic! They were so helpful to even the smallest problems we had, and they genuinely seemed like they wanted us to have a great time there! I went with two other friends with one visiting from Hawaii and she had an AMAZING time. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the hookah is smooth and amazing! Easily a 5 star rating, and easily one of the best restaurant/lounges I've been to yet!

WORST RESTURANT EVER

My family was exploring Westwood and looking for a nice place for dinner when we came upon the habibi cafe. Right when we got close to the shop we were surrounded and pressured into staying. They took us to what they said was their best table in the house but was really a "worse-than-mediocre" dirty, trashed and ripped cloth booth that smelled absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!! The only good thing about this table was that it allowed us to watch the hostess and staff treat potential customers with the same obnoxious tenacity of a used car lot. My parents were Told they had Miller Lite, and were given non-alcoholic beers. I was given and charged for a diet coke I never ordered. Totally shady - they asked if we could pay cash instead of credit card. When i FOUND the fine print that they add 15% gratuity for parties over TWO, my dad crossed out the gratuity he had unknowingly added. Our waiter chased our family across the street asking to clarify his tip a.k.a. Pressuring my dad for more $!!!! Don't waste your time for this disgusting environment and barely mediocre food.

A HIGHWAY ROBBERY

It is okay if you need a place to hang out late and if you like hookah and smoke all over the place.

Food is okay depends on what you order. i agree with the other review; that you could choke on your food but ask for water and you get their own filtered habibi brand bottled water for three or four bucks depends on who is your waiter.

Pros: open late
Cons: extremely over priced

Worst hookah lounge in Westwood

This place is disgusting! I can not think of one thing positive about Habibi Cafe. Well, I guess the atmosphere is alright, but besides that it was horrible. The food was average at best, the Hookah was nasty and they charged us for water which should be free! The hookah was very harsh for most of the night and it burned my throat. I asked the waiter for some water while I was coughing and he brought it 15 minutes later.

Everything was overpriced... I felt like I paid for a burnt throat and headache. I honestly hope they close down.
