Great Nutritionist Helped me Lose 70 lbs

I just finished a weight loss reality show where I lost over 70 pounds in 6 months from working with Alyse at Nutrition Bite.
Alyse Levine was the nutritionist on the show. Her company is called Nutrition Bite. She totally helped me change my diet. I always said I knew what to do/eat, I just didn?t do it. But honestly, I just didn?t. Before the first day of the show, I thought they were going to make me eat rocks, twigs and berries for 6 months. But it was really about making healthier swaps for things I was eating and really understanding about portion size. 1/4 cup of rice is a portion, but before, I was probably eating more like 1-1 1/2 cups. That?s a huge difference... The advice I got from Alyse was always very practical, easy to follow. I am a chef, so I was able to take the nuggets of what she suggested and create really delicious meals for myself. And I am here to tell you, honestly it wasn?t that hard to lose the weight. Though it seemed insurmountable before the show. She gave me the path to success. I have a ways to go still but it?s really all about eat this, not that! For me, changing my decadant, carefree eating ways was really the key to the weightloss.
And seriously if I can do it, having to make brownies, caramel apple tarts, high fat foods all the time for my clients, anyone can. Everyday I emailed her my food log and she?s immediately write back with actionable feedback. She?s totally down to earth, very friendly. And totally helped me change my diet, my body and my life. And it wasn?t about taking creepy pills, or expensive weird supplements.. etc., like some people I?ve been referred to. It was just sound nutrition info. Good luck! You can do it!

Alyse has helped me lose weight after a twin pregnancy by providing me with a meal plan that incorporated all the foods that I like. I am a picky eater and was nervous about being able to stick with a detailed plan given my food preferences. I have been very satisfied with the options and have changed the way I view food and how I choose and plan meals for the better. Over the past 6 months, I have lost over 20 pounds and continue to work with Alyse to lose the remaining weight. In my past, I tried many diet plans (such as Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers), but was never successful in maintaining the weight loss in the long run because my view of food and my habits never changed. I highly recommend Alyse to anyone looking to lose weight, eat healthier and change their lifestyle.
A bite of nutrition for a happy, healthy and fit body

I am a fifty-six year old woman who has struggled with weight control issues and intestinal problems for the last twenty years. Now I am in the throes of menopause, with the added benefit of hot flashes, depression, weight gain, and lack of sleep. I have tried all the popular diets to reduce my weight: South Beach, Atkins, etc. But the restrictions of each made me eat more and feel worse. I came to Alyse Levine (Nutritionbite) with this "baggage" and the desire for food not to control my life. I wanted to learn to manage a healthy diet in a myriad of challenging environments, i.e. how to appreciate my husband?s cooking without gaining weight or eating food that makes me gain a lot of weight; how to order when dining out; managing amount of food intake; how to live without thinking all the time about what to eat to make me feel good. Alyse has been my answer. She approaches a change in diet by providing a myriad of healthy choices and combinations of food. I have stopped looking at food as "bad" or "good." I am gradually losing weight and changing my lifestyle. At each session, Alyse provides helpful learning tips providing incentive to stay on track. For example, at our first session, she indicated that I should take 10,000 steps a day -- that this was "me" time. I cherish that exercise time now because it is my time to be alone without any pressures of the day. I have built more exercise in my life with this simple tip. Each time I see Alyse, there is another goal to reach -- i.e., creating more variety in breakfast choices, learning what snacks to have, adding a strength training program. Alyse's ability to be a nutritionist, personal trainer, and motivator makes this journey a successful and joyous one.
