Saved my Quickbooks. Yesterday I was rushing to get my Quickbooks to my accountant (late). A hot day here in LA caused a few power surges.

I tried to restart my PC, no luck. After I panicked, I pulled the drive and tested it in an external enclosure. No spinning. Now I am panicking.

I did a quick mobile search for data recovery in Los Angeles, called three places, then choose Hard Drive 911 for my recovery after a very through phone consultation. The hard drive was picked up within the hour and had the data back this morning. Cost $450.
