OK... In the sea of glorious reviews, I would hate to be the one guy that left some crap review, truth is this shop is excellent! Matt did a killer job on some ink for me today, could not be more happy with it! I have checked out countless shops in LA, this one has the right "vibe" for sure. The guys are all VERY cool, and the place is a great hang spot. They even gave me a stenciled version to try out before making the commitment, this was the right way to be treated! I cannot say enough good stuff about this place! Matt, Aloha! you are no ka oi!

luvs it. Broken Art Tattoo is hands down, the best shop in LA. I trust all of the artists, and have had complex & colorful work done, as well as simple text. They are superb :) The few times that I have let another shop work on me, I am never as satisfied as I am with the guys at Broken Art. Not only are they extremely talented, they are also very friendly, and provide a fun and cool experience for guests. From the crazy art, to the cool bar, the shop puts other tattoo parlors to shame. 5 stars all the way :)

Broken Art Had me at Josue!!. I have many Tattoos and have been going to the same shop for years... I was lucky enough to have Josue Tattoo me about Three weeks ago for the first time...I was there Last week for another and I will be going back to Broken art tomorrow for 2 more Tattoos from Josue!! I am so excited to have met Josue and all of the guys down at broken art tattoo... Everyone is super friendly and Nice! I feel so at ease in their shop.... which does not seem like a shop at all actually...Its very open and also very private when your with your artist at the same time!! Broken art Tattoo has won me over with their talent, charm, and with how they made me feel as if we had been friends for years!!! I have most def. found a match in Josue whom is very easy to talk to and who I feel understands just what I like! So Happy that I gave them a try =) see ya Tomorrow guys! =)

Broken Art's the SICKEST!!. I got this siick dragon tattoo on my back by Jeremy Swan and it was such a good time.. We just talked like we've known each other for years. Soooo siiiiick fool. Someone was making music in the back and it was such high quality sick stuff, just great vibes, like world music but way sicker..

BEST TATTOO SHOP EVER. I grew up with Derrek and have known Josue for a while now. These guys are my good buddies including jeremy matt and rosie. i love this shop like no other. they produce great work and its the best shop in CA (in my opinion.) if youre looking to get great work done that lasts a life time GO HERE!

hands down the best ink in town. congratulations! you just found the best shop in town.

broken art is a rare gem of a place. the artists who work there, while among the best in their respective fields, are, down to a man, amazing people. even the clients are cool.

i've gotten work done by every artist there and they've always been great at making me feel comfortable - i've never felt more at home in a shop. it's a clean, relaxed and tastefully done lobby, with organized, well designed and immaculate stations.

(and there's ping pong)

the music collection is ridiculous, the art is amazing and there's always a beer or three in the fridge.

you can get tattoos anywhere, i suppose, but when you get one at broken art, chances are you'll have walked away with some great ink and some new friends.

i won't go anywhere else and, in all honesty, most of their clients swear the same thing. if you're thinking about getting a tattoo, visit their shop. if you're not sold instantly, you probably don't want a tattoo.
