Not so good. Prices were decent, but after I had to come back three times to get my brakes and rotors done right I decided that these guys are not the place for me.

Maybe good with tires. I read some good reviews on Citysearch about those guys - so I've taken my 2002 Escalade EXT there a few times and after each time there I got more suspicious of their quality of work.

For my first service there they failed to properly repair my parking brake but blamed it on faulty OEM parts, supposedly all Escalades have that problem - okay... I paid for a full replacement, but the parking break is as shitty as ever.

They also failed to point out any other problem there was with the car (one light was out and they didn't notice...) they only worked on what I complained about.

The last time was the worst experience. The car seemed perfectly fine before the service and ever since it started making two new noises, one subtle knocking noise only noticeable at higher speeds, and then a squeaking noise supposedly from the AC belt (which they did work on). So I took the car back - TWICE - each time they redid the AC belt and the noise went away, but it returned - the first time after 2 days, the second time after 2 months... again, they blamed faulty parts and try to play down their responsibility for this...

I'm done with those guys - I do not recommend them! Now I have to start over in my search for a decent mechanic on the Westside...

BDriver comments are off ..I had a great experience. BDrivers comments are way off mark. First of all, why did he wait 2 months before attending to the problem? Overfilling oil in the crankcase would show itself in white exhaust out of the tailpipe within hours. His experience sounds fishy and of someone who knows little about routine auto maintenance.

I took my Jeep Wrangler for brake squealing and a nail in my rear passenger tire. Turns out I didnt need a brake job and the nail didnt penetrate the tire itself. Louie at West Coast was professional and my experience wound up costing only $20 (I also asked for a tire rotation). I definitely recommend this place.

Put Too Much Oil in my Prius. I would not use these guys. I had not had any trouble until they put too much oil in my 03 Prius. I took my car to the Toyota dealership in Santa Cruz where they performed the diagnostic. Scott says the problem should had shown itself sooner. But not when you move to an area where the temperature outside becomes lower. Thus the problem shows up 2 months later and thus a trip to a new garage. How can you argue with a Toyota dealership? The oil eventually overfilled into the intake manifold. The cost to get the manifold cleaned, new spark plugs, new filter, and oil changed again was $600.00. They did offer me a credit, but I had moved 5 hours away when my car started having problems. Nice of the manager, but I won't be driving 5 hours just to get service to my car. Especially this place. Do yourself a favor and use someone else. Mistakes happen, but this mistake cost me $600

Good Price, Slower than Molasses. Got my flat tire fixed at West Coast Tire...had a hard time finding Pontius Street (its a small side street by Sepulveda), and when I finally got there, it took an hour to fix the 'Nail In Tire' flat I acquired at work.

However, it was 20 dollars....and they were really friendly. I'd recommend this place to somebody with time on their hands, and pennies in their pockets.

Trustworthy, just the best!!!. I have been going here for years and they are the best place to service your car. Friendly and timely, I would highly recommend this place!
