Dr. Carlos E. Setti, DDS

Superb dentist, staff. Kind and genuine.. Dr. setti did a porcelain crown and 2 veneers for me. Must say, I was nervous about going to a new dentist for some work I knew I needed but when I walked in I immed. felt relaxed. This, I thought, is a good sign. The receptionist explained that the office's policy is that patients are to be treated like guests in their home. Offered me some ice water - must have looked like I needed it. Anyway, I came back in 2 weeks to get the items put in place and they are gorgeous. No one would EVER EVER think they aren't my original teeth. The dr. is a real jewel, sweet, takes time with you and enjoys what he does, you can tell. Staff are friendly, nice people too. Went to bat for me with my 2 insurance companies (yawn), were knowledgeable and everything turned out fine, as initially explained.…

They will say ANYTHING to get you in the chair and then will. I am usually the kind of person that follows the rule " if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all." But after today that changes! 2 years ago i had a root canal and crown done by Dr. Setti. I have 2 different dental insurance policies. I was told by his office staff that there would be NO cost for this work due to my good insurance. I then got a bill for over 1200.00 dollars. I went to the office to discuss the bill and was told that my insurance had not cleared everything yet and not to worry. I then received a call from them about the bill and was asked when i was going to pay. I made another stop to discuss this bill. I was told at that time that the billing person was busy and would get around to checking on this for me. I recieved a bill in the mail for 780.00. even though i was told there would be no cost.

Yet another visit to speak to them in person. Now the balance was back up to 1000.00 ?? I spoke to the office manager about my concern about the ever changing amount of a bill that was not even suppose to exist. She said that it was wrong and that the balance was Zero.

I stupidly made an Appt today for some work on a tooth that needed a root canal and when i showed up i was told that i would have to pay my balance of 780.00 before any work would be done. When i told them that i had discussed the matter with the office manager ( who was not there ) they called me a liar.

Save yourself the misery of dealing with this incompetent deceptive office !…

Highly Recommended - best I've been to. Dr. Setti is gentle, a perfectionist and really nice too. He redid some teeth that a dentist messed up before I moved to Los Angeles and his work is just awesome -- I asked a new friend if she could tell which teeth were the crown and veneer and she couldn't! Staff is really nice too...love the hot towel they give you after the session. It's the little things that matter. Couldn't recommend this office more...…
