Great Studio. I have been going to the here since October 2007. It is a quiet, serene and cozy studio. The place lives up to its name. My trainer, designs each session depending on how my body feels. Some days, I am stiffer (arthritis) and we do more stretching, some days I feel great and she works me out! I always feel like I am her only client, that

This really is the best exercise, whether one's already in great shape or wants to get off the couch and get fit and healthy again.
I have tried almost every kind of calorie-burning and lean-muscle building exercise there is - and nothing ever felt right...until I tried Pilates Plus WeHo. After years of searching I have finally found a workout I not only enjoy but have actually grown addicted to! I've been going twice a week for about 3 months now, and I am definitely looking less flabby and more toned than before. In addition, I feel more relaxed and happy with myself and life in general.
Skipp is my favorite trainer in the whole world. His classes are far from easy but they are doable, and the bit of stretching done intermittently helps with not having to suffer for 2-3 days after. I also very much appreciate that his classes are not "one size fits all" - Skipp suggests easier vs. more difficult options of the same exercise to people at different fitness levels. AND his musical taste (Robyn, Royksopp, Kerli, etc.) matches mine to the T, so that's a big plus for my acoustically sensitive ears and makes the 40 minutes of sweating that much more pleasant.

Great classes and instructors, poor customer service. I love the studio and the instructors. The classes are amazing and you really can't beat the price/location/intensity. However, the customer service is pretty horrible. I had an issue with billing (I was charged for classes I had previously cancelled) and there is no 'pause' on a weekly membership if you're sick. I called and was told to email. I have emailed 5 seperate times but haven't heard back yet. It's a shame as I adore the studio and have recommended it to others.
Mikael is awesome. i have been going to sebastiens studio for about 3 months now. I weight train 5 days a week and i have never had a wrkout so good that wrked muscles i never new i had. His classes are never boring, his music is great, he gives attention to each person equally, and i must say i feel accomplished after each class of his i have taken. plain and simple Mikael gives an excellent wrkout each and every time.
Best new instructor.... i have worked out my whole life, and i dnt think ive had such an amazing class like Mikaels class at sebastiens pilates plus studio. His classes are fun, upbeat, and without a doubt gives a sweat that only leads to great results!!!!! take Mikaels class i highly recommend!!
Transform Your Body With This Workout!. If you're looking for a challenging workout, you must try SPX! They do most of the exercises for a minute at an excruciating slow pace, so you really feel the muscles working. When I first started, I took Ally's classes and she was really helpful and encouraging, and also very energetic. But that doesn't mean her classes are easy--she will pound on the same muscle group until you can barely move it. After about a month I feel that my body has become stronger and leaner, and butt is so much tighter. As Sebastien says, if you don't want a tighter butt, don't do this exercise. I hear they're offering a $199 unlimited classes for a month special--now's the perfect time to try it out!

"Glenn, Glenn, Glenn..I have had a few trainers in the past, but let me tell you, Glenn kicks my ass....I have done the $199 a month for 3 months now and never has my body looked so great..I have gone down 2 sizes and had to buy new clothes, but it was soooo worth it..Glenn also plays the BEST music...West Hollywood is the place to go..AMEN!"
SPX is the best way to workout in the world! Courtney is my fave instructor!. SPX is the best way to workout in the world! I have done it all.....personal trainers, gyms, spinning, swimming....you name it! Sebastein's pilates plus is cardio, lengthening, toning, increases flexibility, burns tons of calories....ALL IN 40 mins!!!! I cant believe I have not been doing this my whole life! I go to the West Hollywood location (right by Urth cafe...near La Cienega)....parking is easy, and there are only 10 people to a class so you don't feel crowded at all! The 40 mins FLIES by and I was drenched in sweat after and SORE the next day! I don't even feel the the need to do any cardio after because I am soo soo tired! Its addicting too....I have the monthly unlimited (only 199/month) and I seriously go ALL THE TIME! I am getting better and better and its soo fun! I LOVE COURTNEY! She teaches Tues/Thurs AM and Mon/Wed evening....she is soo positive and fun! I love her upbeat music too! Everyone that teaches is great but Courtney is my fave! Sooo basically its the perfect workout:)! Cheap, fast, effective.

Rendel is a terrific instructor at this studio!. I have taken pilates at a number of gyms and studios around LA. Not until I randomly signed up for a class with Rendel at Pilates Plus, did I "get it". She was patient and direct. There is no condescension in her instructions and her energy is contagious. Also, each class I attended she used some different music. And all kinds of music. Some I haven't heard for years and it let me escape as I did my leg work! As for the workout, I can tell you it is tough. Good and tough. But with her motivation and easy transistions the forty minute class flew by. If you get a chance to sign up with her, I can recommend this studio. Great training. Great energy. Great workout.
