Galanga

One of West Hollywood's most popular thai restaurants. It's more of a thai fusion restaurant. House made sauces, fresh ingredients. Great quality food and great price!

Mom and pop Thai restaurant with a bit of a health bent, focusing on salads and soups in addition to pad Thai and other classics.

Let's get a DEAL from West Hollywood's BEST Thai!. Galanga Thai Fusion restaurant is one of my favorite spots in all of L.A. Their food is consistently delicious and healthy, the service is great, and the prices are low!

Rather than combing through Groupon and Living Social to find deals on lesser restaurants, let's petition Galanga Thai Fusion to give us a group discount! Visit:

Go here for the lunch specials. They've got a good two dozen lunch special items, all under six bucks. Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao are excellent. Friendly, prompt service.

why have I been going elsewhere for Thai?. Yum! We live in the area, and I don't know why I haven't been going here all along, I guess it's a bit hidden? We just had the BEST dinner delivered - super speedy, nice n hot, fresh, delicious, veggies were crisp, meat was very good quality, fish had lots of fresh ginger, coconut rice was sweet and yummy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

west hollywood's top secret!. what a find! a true culinary delight that can be enjoyed without a wall street expense account! this unassuming neighborhood joint dishes up fantastic thai food at a reasonable price. there are a plethora of thai restaurants around, but few serve such quality food. and the staff.....always pleasant and helpful.......they keep me coming back for more.....

Reasonably priced Thai, no sketchiness, no attitude.. This is a nice, quiet neighborhood joint with unpretentious, but elegant decor and service. This is definitely the place to go for a nice weeknight meal without having to deal with scenesters and is 3 or 4 notches up from the places you might find around Hollywood/Western. The food is simple, but high quality and flavorful, and a relative bargain considering the neighborhood. Great place for a nice quiet meal with friends, or even a first date. The $5.95 lunch specials are probably the best deal in West Hollywood.

Under the radar Thai restaurant in WeHo quickly serves all the fan favorites in a casual sit-down setting.. In Short
Despite revamping their covered patio dining area and morphing it into a full-blown indoor addition, this quiet WeHo Thai fusion restaurant stays pretty nondescript. A fresh coat of plain beige paint, a few unassuming pieces of art, and a faint yet calming tribal soundtrack now set the scene at the no-frills family-owned eatery. And that's actually completely okay because the food and service are its true strong points. Vegetarian Thai fusion dishes, like their spicy red curry or tofu pad thai, are popular crowd-pleasers, as is the Pra Ram (steamed chicken, spinach and brown rice in their tangy and flavorful peanut sauce). Plus, a bonus for the harried afterwork crowd, each dish seems to be prepared at lightning speed, providing a nice alternative to the fast food burger joints found next door and across the street. For dessert, splurge on a generous helping of sticky rice with mango.

Lower your expectations. We went there the first time this week. My expectations were high after reading the mostly very good reviews here and I am so disappointed that I had to sign up and write my first ever Restaurant review.

The place is nice, the waiters are friendly but the food is just the same old americanized Thai you would expect in a food court. Not that it is especially bad but - I agree with jfuji - especially mediocre.

It is inexpensive so it still might be a good value but just don't expect anything new or different than your standard take out. And don't order the Tom Yum soup - there is more sugar in there than in a can of Coke...

this place is fantastic. i love thai food....have been to thailand many times....this is the best thai food i've had in L.A. the people who run the place are really friendly and it's clean and cosy. it is very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. order your usual favorite thai dishes but make sure you try the chicken dumplings and the thai burritos for something different.

Some of the Best Thai in Weho. It's located on Santa Monica Boulevard, but Galanga still manages to be a hideaway gem. It's never a scene but they stay busy, cranking out steaming dishes heaped with vegetables, rice or noodles. Eating-in is enjoyable on their converted patio; it's quiet, cozy and comfortable. But if you're looking for take-out or delivery you cannot beat it. The takeout guy--he must work his butt off every day--is always so friendly. I usually order the same thing, so by the third time I'd called, he recognized me and remembered what I was looking for. It's not just in the movies where you can use the line: "I'll have my usual." I love that. Plus, the cherry on top? Galanga is fast. You'll be amazed how you can hang up the phone and suddenly hear him knocking on your door. I highly recommend the Pad Se Ew with chicken and the fried wontons. You'll definitely have leftovers for lunch the next day.
