view & uploadfabulous experience, clean staff, most amazing foot massage, pretty nails, worst mani, mediocre manicures
WORST MANI PEDI IN LOS ANGELSE.
The woman at the front, Linda is a monster. She barks and yells at the staff constantly (does not make for a relaxing time.) And she is probably the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. She also barks at the customers!
I came in for the first time, today... in hopes of getting a few moments of zen and some pretty nails! Neither of these happened. The girl who did my manicure was very sweet, but did a terrible job. They literally kicked me out of the chair 15 seconds after they finished so there was no way for them to even dry properly! My polish was bubbly, smudged and all over my fingers! So, I asked Linda if I could please have them re-done. She would not look up at me to answer my question and when I asked her again, she barked at me to "go sit. we very busy." I then went to sit where she ordered me to and someone else told me to get up. When I went back to the counter to ask where I should wait she said "I TOLD YOU ALREADY. GO AND WAIT. WE VERY BUSY." I was stunned by her reaction and asked her name and if she was the owner. She would not give me her name and I had to ask one of the staff, instead.
When someone finally offered to wait, while Ruby re-polished my nails, she came over and did another RUSH job, while I sat in the chair at the front. I was not even taken to a proper table ! The second polish job was just as bad as the first, which didn't surprise me considering she spent all of 2 minutes on it!
The only saving grace of that horrible experience was the guy who did my pedicure. His name was Steven and he was WONDERFUL. He gave me the most amazing foot massage ever and did a great job on the actual pedicure and polish. However, as much as I liked him (and I tipped him well) i would NEVER RETURN to this salon and I intend to write a letter to the owner. When you spend $30 on a mani-pedi, it shouldn't look like a 5 year old painted your nails!
Good and bad. I've been to Zumani 4 times and overall I am satisfied with their nail services but it was nothing spectacular. The quality of your mani/pedi varies with each artist. The first time I got acrylics, the lady, who i think was the manager of the salon, did a really good job, but the next three times I went, my manicures were mediocre. I do like the massage chairs in the salon and the wait is never very long.
don't waste your money or your patience!. horrible. the employees don't pay attention. it was as if they were trained to use nail files and cuticle clippers and weapons. i kept flinching as they yanked at my cuticles and they pretended not to notice. plus it sort of looks like i did my nails myself with a blindfold on.
