Editorial Review for Lollicup Coffee & Tea – by Mar Yvette

In Short
Started as a single store in San Gabriel Valley in 2000, Lollicup is now a national chain with more than 80 stores in operation. Specializing in boba--large tapioca balls with a sweet, chewy consistency--the café menu features over 170 drinks including flavored teas, milk teas, coffee, blended beverages, smoothies and juices. There is also a limited selection of snacks and light meals that can be enjoyed inside or on the outdoor hedge-lined patio.

Insider Tips

Know Before You Go

Any drink can be ordered boba-free. Those who enjoy the gooey additions should make sure to use the extra-wide straws.

The Extras

Customers can enjoy free wi-fi both inside and on the outdoor patio.

Seriously, when all your coffee shops and tea places are closed at around 10pm, where do you go? I mean the night isn't over, esepeically for students who need their caffeine. That's where these boba shops come to the rescue. I love boba drinks so i've been to many boba places, i'd say this place is not that bad but not that great. There's a lollicup in Irvine that's much better, at least service wise. Although I still go since it's closer to me, the drinks i usually order is the cold mango milk tea or the hot milk tea. Those are usually good. Sometimes i get it without boba for those of you who don't like boba. Well i think it's good to try it, i would recommend it.

Pros: drinks,

Cons: service
