EXTREMELY TROUBLED /QUACK THERAPIST
by ProfessorNK at Citysearch
For a therapist to be excellent or even good she has to be capable and honest and emotionally healthy. Rebecca Danelski is neither. She has so much baggage that when she travels she takes up all of the space in cargo.
Rebecca's actions have been beyond inappropriate, abusive and destructive.
Interesting, the person below who claims Rebecca is an Excellent Therapist is her best friend, I know her well. I have no doubt she is a great friend but in session, she lacks a whole lot of skill. If she truly were an excellent therapist and behaved appropriately, I would not have written this review.
And Rebecca has tampered with a great site all about therapists called Therapist Ratings check it out. See manipulated it so only friends review stating how wonderful she is visible on a search, it's just part of her unethical pattern of behavior... There are many who know she needs to deal with her issues first before she can try and help a client.
- Pros: Still thinking...
- Cons: Quack, harmful choices, can't manage her own issues
Painful Experience!

Ms Danelski abused Tarasoff Law and misreported the truth to get off the hook for breaching confidentiality and defamation. Her actions were completely unprofessional, dishonest , unethical, harmful and totally hurtful. She used the exact verbiage needed(not the truth) but needed under the law to protect her license and her practice. The verbiage is found in any psychology text under Tarasoff. Don't let her credentials fool you..she doesn't live up to them. Her behavior has been shameful and appalling.
This is updated version to inform potential consumers of mental health services.
- Pros: Central location
excellent therapist

I've known Rebecca since 1994 and she is an excellent therapist. She teaches in the graduate schools, is respected among her colleagues and often referred more challenging cases. I saw there was a negative review - and I'm not surprised - there are crazy people out there who can say whatever they want.
Finding a therapist is like dating - you have to feel like it's a good match. But if it isn't - no one is to blame - just find someone else.
- Pros: kind, super bright and skilled
- Cons: doesn't take some insurances
