fun, delicious and friendly. I just read the review about the woman with "severe seafood allergies" and I am appauled. Who in their right mind orders takeout steak from a fish restaurant when she says she can die from eating any food that was near seafood. This review must be a put on because no one could be that stupid! We have been fans of Delzanos for several years and think it is delicious. The seafood couldn't be any fresher and the staff couldn't be any nicer. My family and I go there often, there are lots of regulars there and everyone is treated like family. I highly recommend this restaurant "by the sea".

Great view,service and food. I have been a regular at Delzanos and have had nothing but great food and service. The woman with the "Severe" food allergies to Seafood is irresponsible by ordering steak in a seafood restaurant, takeout no less. If my seafood allergies were life threatening I would be cooking my own steaks at home. My experience with Alexis has been exceptional. She has an electrifying personality and is very professional. She has gone above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. This seems to be a case of someone looking to make a quick buck and take advantage of innocent people, she should be ashamed of herself! Don't take this "crazy" woman's review personally Alexis, my family and I think you are the Best!

go here. Sorry rmjcreate777, but I think you are mistaken about this place. I have visited Delzano's several times since

finding it a few months ago.

The location is very nice, with a warm harbor view. The food is exceptional, created by a lovely man named Rafael. The staff is friendly and judging by the report with the local regulars, it feels like a family.

And they don't even have anyone named Alex who works there.

For the money, you get a fantastic meal, way beyond average service, and if you enjoy a nice libation now and again, you will not be disappointed at the bar.

We just had a great night there for the monthly wine dinner. It's a four course meal, this time with five different wines, for $50, and the wine keeps coming.

Where can you beat that? Nowhere.



So, maybe yoyu should head back. Everyone has an off day. We love this place.

DELANZO'S BY THE SEA WORST PEOPLE EVER!. I called for a To Go order and Explained to them that I had Exteme Allergies to wheat, Fish and more, Asking them to please cook the steak and food in seperate pan. The lady on the phone ALEX seemed almost annoyed that she had to go through all the extra caution as I even told her I was sorry for the trouble (which I should never have to do when I am the customer). She assured me that they would cook it the right way of course in a very "put out" tone and manner.

My husband picked it up and brought it home. I opened it up and it all smelled of Fish HORRIBLY!

I called and ALEX on the phone she started saying "Well you are trying to order a to go order with allergies what should I expect" also stated that they cooked it the right way.

She said this in a VERY HORRIBLE manner as if I WAS TO FAULT FOR THEIR MISTAKES!

I said a few choice words to her back and asked to speak to the chef, she informed that the chef did not speak english, then I asked "well how were you able to communicate this to him" and she said real nasty, Believe me it was communicated!

I then asked for a manager, she said that there was no manager I insisted on knowing the managers name, she then said she was basically the manager (of course LIEING TO ME).

Then when I began to push it further letting her know that they have would have a law suit on their hands if I eat that food and have a reaction.

SHE DID NOT CARE AT ALL! Then she gave me the manager finally, the manager was as rude as her employee ALEX stating that she would do nothing then hung up on me.

My husband took food back demanding payment back to the credit card.

I AM GOING TO POST AND POST EVERYDAY UNTIL SOMEONE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR UNCOMPASSIONITE WAY THEY HAVE TREATED ME NOT CARING WEATHER I LIVE OR DIE AT THEIR HANDS!

AS WELL I AM GOING TO TURN THEM INTO THE CITY AND TAKE THIS AS FAR AS I CAN BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE WITH EXTREME FOOD ALLERGIES TO BE TREATED THIS WAY IN THE FUTURE!

I think they should Reprimand ALEX and I also believe that the manager should also be reprimanded by the District Manager or whom ever is over her! This could have been a LIFE OR DEATH Situation and THEY DID NOT CARE ONE BIT. THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE I HAVE EVER BEEN TREATED IS NOT MY FAULT I HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES AND I AM THE CUSTOMER AND DESERVE TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION!A FORMAL APOLOGY WOULD BE NICE FROM THEM BOTH, WITH PROOF OF THEM BEING CORRECTED.

Our new regular spot!. Wow! This place is great. Romantic/casual atmosphere with great service and even better food. Our server was attentive and had a great personality, didn't just deliver our food and run away rolling their eyes. I didn't feel like I was bothering them by asking for extra dressing like most places in LA. The restaurant also had a great view of the Harbor since the it sits on the water and you can see the boats dock from your table. We went on a Tuesday and had a NY Strip and Lobster tail for $25. Great flavor in the steak and they actually know what Medium Rare means! I was really impressed with the meal for the money. Then came dessert....forget the Cheesecake Factory! their cheesecake was amazing. Fresh, creamy, light and not too sweet....so good I wanted to order another piece and my husband loved the 4 layer chocolate mousse cake Normally we try to avoid places on the water because of the tourist aspect but we will be back to Delzano's and soon!
