TERRIBLE Service Moderate food. Take my word for it, DO NOT BOOK A BANQUET AT LA HUASTECA!!! We planned our company Christmas party at La Huasteca in 2008 and it was practically a "serve yourself" party. They were 1/2 hour late setting up the bar. Only offered Budweiser, Corona and plane wrap alcohol for the mixed drinks.

The food was ok, but cold, mostly because we only had 2 servers for a party of 120 people! The mashed potatoes had the consistency of peanut butter.

We also did not know about their firm rule of bringing in your own alcohol. Yes, we should have know, but we typically do not search our employees for "smuggled bottles." They charged us an additional $710 for 5 bottle of alcohol AND I was threated the second the bottles were found that the party would be shut down. I had to plead for 5 minutes to ask the few accused employees to leave.

DON'T DO IT, DON'T BE TEMPTED BY THE SPACIOUS ROOM!!! I wondered why it was the only banquet facility still available within 3 weeks notice!!! NOW I KNOW!
