Thank you so much Gina!!!. I wanted to write Gina a review because she has really been awesome. Both me and my wife have been seeing her for our cuts (and color too, who am I kidding?) for the last few years. We are both thrilled with her professionalism, genuine interest in our lives and events, and her styling talent. She is a 3rd generation stylist - just ask her!

I have sent her several referrals and they have all continued with her as well. We would recommend to anyone that needs an update to their look!

She just made my wife look amazing for our NYE party. What a great way to start the new year!

I won't let anyone else touch my hair.. Some dude :What are yo doing this weekend Poesha?

Me: Flying to LA to see my stylist.

Some dude: You FLY to LA from SF for haircuts???

ME: Yes, because that's just the kind of jet setting, high brow girl I am.

OK no I am not jet set or high brow, I am actually kind of a low budget cranky girl who does not like to fuss much with hair and stuff but I do not trust my insane, curly, large, thick crazy making hair to anybody but Marti Paez at Oceana Salon. Girl is an artist. I am addicted to her haircuts so yes, it's true, I go to LA for cut and color every few months because her cuts grow out so well that I only have to go 3-4 times a year. She works the same way I work when I prune a tree, with her whole body. I've never seen anyone put so much energy into a haircut and if she can make my terror hair fabulous then there is nothing she can't do.

Plus, she's cute and has fabulous legs.

Call Marti, get a life changing haircut, be happy.

Awesome hairdresser in a relaxing atmosphere. I have been following an awesome hairdresser, Marti Paez, for the last 20 years. She found Oceana and I absolutely LOVE IT! Serene ocean and pool views and an awesome hairdresser. I will only ever go to Marti. After bearing 3 children and the stress of everyday life, my hair has taken a toll. Fine hair and very gray decribes my hair. When I leave Marti's, I always leave feeling and looking great! In a sea of flighty hairdressers, Marti is such a blessing. Always reliable, consistent and the best quality of work.

Best Hair Dresser in Town- Marti Paez!!. First of all i commute from Orange County to Oceana Hair. I brave the 405 specifically for the supreme caliber of service Marti Paez provides. She does not just color, cut, buzz, or wash your hair and then send u packing. No, Marti examines your hair from the texture, how porous it is, the color (ladies we all know about the greys), and the health of our hair. I have curly unruly hair, it's so bad it needs a time out, it can amount to a massive fro only to be likened to Mufasa's mane in The Lion King. Marti looked at my hair and recognized that it needs deep conditioning due the type of activities I do, she trims my hair to get rid of dead ends and keep healthy hair growth, and when she colors she tries to use ammonia free products to maintain a lustrious color and shine. She really takes into account your life style and personalizes your color, cut, and maintanence. On top of her fabulous gift of taming my hair and making it look like it belongs to a human female, she engages you in the best conversations, she is hilarious, compassionate, a truly amazing woman. essentially, GO SEE MARTI!!!! you wont regret it!
