I had Performance paint and body fix dents and paint my car. I was told it would be brought back to its original condition. Lately i noticed that what ever they used to seal the paint with was coming off in spots. I took the car by and the manager did everything possible not to help me. It would of been up to performance to pay for it instead of my insurance since the job was done poorly. He even insulted me by saying i was lazy because there was a small amount of bird crap on my car. I don' t recommend this company. I am going to call my insturance agency as well as whom ever this mans' boss is.

Skilled craftsmen. I have owned dozens of cars and have had to have paint and body work periodically. It's California, the paint and body shop capitol of the USA. Although I believe skilled craftsmen can be found, and are available everywhere, this group along with the management here at PP&B are exceptional. My experiences tell me it's not just another job, but they wants you satisfy with the result. My three experiences with PP&B require me to give them a top rating.

Skillfully repaired. The second experience with PP&B was approximately one year ago and involved our new Escape. The rear bumber paint was scratched and damaged in a parking lot. The paint was skilfully repaired in less than a day. Although this did not involve an insurance claim the price was right and the quality the best. I still have all three vehicles. All look showroom new. I give some credit to PP&B for helping me keep my cars looking like new.

No problems here. I was referred to this shop by my best friend when i had a minor fender bender. She was right when she said i wouldn't have a single problem with this place. I loved the lively office clerks and my estimator was a very kind and thorough man. They had the vehicle torn apart and started the very next day. My estimator called and updated me on the completed estimate. I thought it would be an arm and a leg but he hooked it up. He kept it very low explained the hidden damages that were behind the bumper which i knew would be the case. There wasn't a single surprise other than how beautiful my car was when it was complete. I definitely recommend this shop to all my family and friends.

Thorough. Well this is the place my insurance company Allstate recommended to get my car repaired at, I was in recent 3 way fender bender so i got it on both ends of the car since i happened to be the middle car. Anyways this place was excellent the collision repair specialist was very thorough with my car checking everything she could then the shop ripped apart the car and actually the following day i received a call from the guy explaining everything that was going to be done to the car and what will be replaced and answered all my questions. The car was done in a week and when i went to pick it up the guy who worked on my car he showed me all what was done, he also test drove it to make sure nothing was wrong or loose. They guarantee their work and if I have any problems to bring it right back. All the people i dealt with provided the top customer service. I also have to give props to Allstate for basically handling all the paperwork. Just now have to wait to get my $500 deductible back LOL

Thanks Performance P & B!. Okay, so we all know how much of a bummer it is when you're truck gets hit by an ignorant driver. Lucky for all of us out there, Performance Paint and Body exists! I was really bummed when my truck got hit, and went to a honda body shop reccomended by the insurance company. They pointed out a few things, but before I dropped my truck off there, my girlfriend reccomnded me to Performance P and B.

I was greeted by Patricia the Writer and a Bodyshop worker named Rigo. They both did an excellent job upon the inspection and even noticed imperfections from the accident that neither I NOR the other body shop noticed.

Patricia was very kind and knowledgable and defenitely portrayed professionalism and experience in the given field. Rigo did one hell of a job on the repairs. Everyone at this bodyshop went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to repairing my truck.

I reccomend this busness to anyone and everyone who would like a job done perfectly.

Thank You Performance P & B!

And to anyone reading this, your vehicle deserves the best, so come up and see them when the time comes.

Friendly and courteous. I recently got into a car accident and my allstate Insurance company sent me to Performance. Upon arriving at my appointment time an adjuster met me outside ready for inspection action. He was friendly, courteous and helpful w/all aspects of the claims process. The best thing though was since both parties had allstate Insurance the deductible was waved and had my truck repaired the same day I brought it to get Inspected.Although I hope to never see him again, if I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely bring my automobiles back to Performance

Exceptional. Strictly limited to the customer service for estimates. I will draft another review upon completion of the service.

Here on a by-appointment-only Saturday. Greeted very cordially by Pedro, the Allstate insurance representative. He was extremely nice and accommodating, considering I was 15 minutes late. "don't worry about it," says he, "as long as you got here safely.".

There is ample parking off Telo St and Lomita Blvd. The waiting room is stocked with coffee and bottled h2o. Nice cushioned faux-leather sofas and chairs. The only thing lacking is a TV. But if there were a TV, I guess I wouldn't have been able to draft this review on my iPhone.

So far, the service has been exceptional. I hope their body work is the same caliber.

Great People, Great Paint & Body Work. Just got my brand new SUV back from Performance Paint and Body. It was ready as promised, even early. These guys are realy the best. Purchased my new ride 2 weeks ago an managed to damage it in less than 40 miles after driving it away from the dealer. My bad. This Expedition just fits in my garage, same as the previous Expedition, but somehow I let it roll back too far and as the garage door was lowered it hit the rear and gouged the rear bumper paint and cut the rear rubber step. The entire project took less than two days, in Tuesday morning. PP&B shuttled me home to get my other car. Out Wednesday afternoon as promised. All new original equipment manufacture (OEM) parts were used. When I picked it up today I was challenged to find any hint of the previous damage. ITS JUST LIKE NEW again thanks to the very skiled craftsmen at Performance Paint and Body.

This is my third experience with Performance Paint and Body (PP&B). The first time approximately 2+ years ago some non-driving, law-breaking, careless, cell phone idiot rear-ended me. The entire rear of the vehicle needed to be repaired. The dealer where I service my car recommended PP&B. I was informed that PP&B may not be the absolute lowest cost for a given repair, but I was assured the quality was number one. I was not, and have not been disapointed. I found the estimate for this significant repair to be competive. Insurance estimate and the evaluation process and procedures for this episode were uneventfull. Everything went smooth and normal. I was put into a loaner vehicle, a new one, same model as the one I was driving. Two weeks (10 working days) later my vehicle was ready as promised, no issues. I was not able to detect any hint of previous damage. Again the craftsmen employed at this shop are the best I have experienced. I'm very particular about my cars, in the extreme. No eating or drinking in the car. Extra floor mats over the factory original floor mats. This way the factory original floor mats are always like new. I have my cars detailed every two weeks, even if they just sit in garage. They always look like showroom new. And yes, it's a little expensive, but just a little more than a quality car wash every week.

Good body work lousy business practices. My insurer steered me to their 'certified' shop - Performance. Here is the consumer key - IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES TO 'STEER' YOU TO PARTICULAR REPAIR SHOPS - I should not have let them do this.Well, I fell for it and went to Performance. This is where I should have known something was amiss. The service writer was a young woman wearing uncomfortably tight jeans, high heels, and a very low cut top. The thing that really got me was her perfume. It was overwhelming and because it was so strong I thought at the time that it might have been used so liberally in order to mask poor hygien.Showed her the car. She wrote the service request. She specifically told me that they would have to take the front bumber cover off to inspect damage and that THEY WOULD NOT BEGIN ANY WORK UNTIL AFTER SHE CALLED ME AND GOT MY APPROVAL. I specifically told her that I did not want any 'after market parts' and told her to order OEM (Original Manufacturer Parts) only. She said she would. Consumer key - IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO DEMAND OEM PARTS AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY MUST PAY FOR THOSE. The body shops the insurance companies send you to do everything they can to use aftermarket Tiawanese parts in order to keep the insurance companies happy and keep their own 'volume' up - also labor stays the same no matter what parts they use. Aftermarket steel is thinner, it just doesn't 'look right' and it never fits right, leaving big gaps. Aftermarket plastic parts are really really lame , don't look right, and become brittle, discolored in the sun.

Got a call a few days later. She gave me the rundown on the necessary work and asked to proceed. I asked if the bid included aftermarket or OEM parts and she was not too convincing in her answer. In fact, she was evasive and unclear. I told her not to do any work and that I would come down to look at the car and see the estimate.

Went there the next day. THEY HAD ALREADY STARTED WORK ON MY CAR without my permission !!!!! The odiferous service writer told me she had already ordered "All the Parts". As it turns out the parts she ordered were aftermarket parts !She totally ignored my specification for OEM parts and her promise not to start work until I authorized it.I was pissed and let her know it. She was basically speachless when I called her on the stunt she tried to pull. I ended up speaking to the owner, Gary.He was cool but he tried, very lamely, to tell me that they had to start the work on the car in order to write the estimate ! I would have really wondered WTF was going on but one of my fabvorite books is Jospeh Hellers 'Catch-22' and I became amused as I sat there feeling like I was talking to 'Milo Minder Binder' as he was BS-ing Major Major ! Hahaaahhaa. I recognized it as pure double speak meant to cover up the service writers screw up.At this point I would have left with my car but the front clip was sitting in pieces on the shop floor. So I was pretty much stuck. Gary agreed that he would never use aftermarket parts on his own car and that he would reorder OEM parts for mine. He assured me he would treat my car as if it was his own.He apparently did so as the repair work was excellent. Perfect paint match both in color and texture, no signs of previous damage with the exception of some scratched paint on the hood hinge bolts. Really , really good work. In fact excellent. 10 on a scale of 10.I requested the invoices for the OEM parts to confirm that's what they used and was given them.I know that the fit would not have been acceptable with aftermarket parts. Here ar the three keys - Dont let your insurance company steer you to a particular repair shop.- Demand OEM parts. They will tell you your insurance companie 'specifies' aftermarket but it is your right in California to demand OEM. - If you go to Performance for work work and upon entering you smell overwhelming perfume and hear the click of high heels on the linoleum floor, run away !!!!!!
