What a great cause!. My son and I volunteered here and had such a great time. The regular volunteers are so dedicated and deserve a huge round of applause for what they do!

Give back to our community!

Habitat for Humanity. I can't believe such wonderful people that volunteer for this organization. I love what they do for Angelenos. Thank you!

Check Out Their Home Improvement Store. I have always been a fan of this organization and love to support them in any way. We are lucky in L.A. b/c attached to their headquarters is a store open to the public. So we can support building more homes in L.A. by shopping. The inventory is always changing, but the staff and volunteers are always helpful. I have even seen Viking appliances for sale! They also accept donations if you are looking to get rid of things.

For over 30 years, this Christian non-profit continues to spread the love with low-cost housing built by volunteers around the globe.. In Short
This volunteer housing ministry has been giving the poor affordable opportunities to buy renovated and new homes since its founding in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. After having built more than 250,000 homes for low income families, this international organization is the largest of its kind. Homes built by volunteers with donated materials are sold for no profit, and the mortgages go toward building more houses for other people around the world. Existing in over 90 countries, these home-sweet-home engineers create modest-sized living spaces specific to each locale's natural environment, so every home built is not the same as the last. By using sustainable and energy-efficient construction methods, Habitat is committed to the well-being of the earth and its people.
