Delicious food but bad service. If your looking for good authentic food at a reasonable price, then this is the place to eat. The service at the Cerritos location is horrible. I have eaten at the Cerritos location three times, and each time it gets worst. The Gardena location has much better service and same quality of food.

Good food but service/customer service needs to be improved.. The city of Los Angeles gave this location a "C" grade. The restaurant rapidly posted a letter apologizing to El Rocoto Restaurant clients for the inconvenience and blames the situation to a worker who had made previous mistakes as a result was fired. The food is good, that is, if I was to grade it from 0 to be the lowest and 10 been the highest, I would give it an 8.5. In addition, the service needs more attention it needs to be enhanced; some of the waitresses and waiters forgot or took a long time to provide me with a fork or my drink. I personally would give service a 3.0 grade out of 10. Ten being the highest/excellent

score, of course.

I have tried the following dishes and I have grade them from 0 to be poorest grade to 10 been an excellent grade:

? Lomo Saltado ? Lean Strips of beef, sauteed with sliced onions, tomatoes, French fries and steam rice. GRADE 9.5

? Jalea ? Deep fried fish topped with breaded shrimp, squid, scallops and octopus. Served with marinated onions and tartar sauce. This dish is good for tow people. GRADE 10

? Parihuela Salvaje ? Soup with snow crab legs, shrimp, fish mussels, squid and octopus. GRADE 9.5

? Tallarin Saltado de Mariscos ? Soup with shrimp, squid, octopus and mussels, sauteed with onions, tomatoes and mixed with spaghetii. GRADE 2.5
