Sandwiches and Iced Tea

This place is amazing and the staff is great. My friends and i will drive out here from school in La Canada to get their an amazing Roasted Chicken or Egg Salad Sandwich with fresh iced tea. The iced tea is strong but soothing. The egg salad is to die for and touched with dill. my mouth waters just thinking about it!!! Soooo good! i cannot wait to try more.

pros: nice service, pretty quick after ordering, fresh, fresh, fresh

Cons: pricey, can be long lines

Amazing breakfast

We went here for my husband's birthday during the week for breakfast initially because it was the only place open for breakfast during the week. We found out that it is wonderful... My husband had a quiche that was light and fluffy, and I had a breakfast scramble with brown rice that was just what I wanted. Since it was his birthday they brought us a complimentary cupcake which was delicious. It was like a Hostess cupcake but homemade. What a find!!!!!

• Pros: Good variety, fresh ingredients, great staff
• Cons: Right near the metro, but not too noticeable

Great salads and more!

I LOVE this place and eat here at least twice a week. I especially love the salads and the grilled portabello mushroom sandwich. The people are really nice, particularly Trish, the chef. Reasonably prices.

• Pros: Salads, prices, staff.
• Cons: Gets crowded at lunch, especially on weekends and outside tables.

Great breakfast and pastries!

The scones, muffins and cupcakes (especially the coconut!) are all really wonderful. Breakfast offerings are very tasty, and the coffee is strong and rich-- definitely dark roast! Service is friendly and efficient. Heirloom is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Great lunch spot

This conveniently located bakery/cafe serves up fresh, ecclectic sandwiches and salads with daily specials and delightful pastries. Ordering at the counter saves money - sit outside and enjoy the pleasant South Pasadena strollers for a nice afternoon lunch

• Pros: Quality ingredients, Location
• Cons: Expensive for lunch, can be crowded.
