Restaurant closed.. Wheatberry is no longer in business since May 2008, per a sign on their door. So sorry to see it go. It was a favorite and popular casual dining place.

Simple place that gets it right. I have been to Wheatberry several times. I have had a chance to try several of their breads and have yet to be dissappointed. Anything here made with pastry dough is going to be wonderful. My favorite combination at Wheatberry is a pain au chocolat with a regular coffee. The coffee is a little on the strong side, but we all could use a good kick in the pants, right? The staff is always eager to please and friendly.

European style pastries and best fresh cream cakes in town. Located on Lake Avenue in the heart of Pasadena, Wheatberry bakery cafe has become my favorite spot to have lunch or hang out with colleagues. This cafe has beaufully designed decor, offers free wi-fi, and the some of the best premium sandwiches and European-inspired pastries to tantalize your pallate. My favorites are Chicken Salad sandwich that includes cranberries, celery, walnut, lemon peel, etc. and cheese danish. Yummy!
