Why wait?. I was referred to Dr. Green by our family doctor. I've been taking my kids there for a couple years, but am now moving them elsewhere.

My main problem with her office is the painfully long waits in a tiny little waiting room. She takes Medical and Medicare patients, which is admirable of her to do. But she seems to double book all of her appointments. I've never had an appointment where we haven't waited at least 45 minutes in the waiting room, and another 10 in an exam room. (I'm theorizing here) that Medicare and Medical patients tend to skip appointments more often than those on regular insurance, and that's why she apparently double books as a matter of policy.

Obviously, this puts pressure on her staff. Every time I go, they are visibly stressed, and snappish. If you dare ask how long the wait will be, you get a flippant reply. They could care less how long you've been waiting, and whether you have someplace to be.

They appear to be disorganized too. I called about flu shots a few months ago, office staff took down my info and told me they would call me when they were scheduling a clinic. I never heard anything back. Maybe I complained one too many times about the wait, and my name was erased from the list? Either that or they're just horribly disorganized. Either way, it's bad news.

As a result, those of us on regular insurance, who work, and can't afford to waste an hour waiting for an appointment that we arrived for on time - we look elsewhere for care. Too bad her policies chase us away.

Nicest Dr. Ever. The Dr. is the greatest very patient, and caring. shes considerate, and keeps her hands warm and clean before handling infants. However she shares her office space with multiple other drs, and her waiting room is condense with germs flying around and nosey kids who want to see/touch infants. I never regret seeing her, but always regret the wait. I wish they had a seperate room just for the babies that are are not ill, and just there for thier checkups.
