Honest and Knowledgeable with a Personal Touch. I'm a pool tech with over 10 years of experience and I have been doing business with James and Jane for over five years now. Convenient location with lots of parking, great prices (competitive with the big discount suppliers), knowledgeable having over 20 year experience, and a terrific selection have made them my go to choice since I found them. I also appreciate dealing with a place that knows my name and goes the extra mile to take care of me. Will keep going as long as I am in the business.

From a professionals point of view it sounds as if the complaints about Westhills Pool Supplies are from people who dont have much, if any knowledge about the industry.

Great people with a great store trying make a living while still giving the pubic the best pricing (much less expensive then Leslies).

Best Service Ever !!!. I have been having algae problems with my pool for years until I went ot West Hills Pool Supply. THey explained everything step-by-step how to solve my problem and only recommended products that were needed. Now my pool is crystal clear. They are very helpful and their prces are very reasonable.

Unprofessional, rude, dishonest owner, stay away!!. I just hired this owner, James, of West Hills Pool Supply to service my pool. I serviced my pool myself for 9 years and know it well. At the VERY FIRST visit he 1) damaged my pool, 2) added incorrect chemicals 3) didn't add what was actually needed 4) damaged the pools plumbing and left it an absolute MESS. Then he was incredibly rude & unprofessional when I called him to asked what happened. He said, and I quote, " I don't work for you, YOU WORK FOR ME! I don't need your business! I don't clean your pool no more!!" And hung up on me. -- I really believe this guy has psychological problems. Steer clear of this lunatic and his sales pitch about his vast experience, his pool supply business and his happy customers. He was an instant nightmare after first pool servicing. Well now HE'S FIRED!! Good luck treating new customers like garbage, especially in this economy. Rude, incompetent, lies, can't be trusted and will apparently do damage, not take responsibility, then hang up on you. OUTRAGEOUSLY BAD GUY TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH.

Excellent Service!. The service at this store is very knowledgeable, and they solved my problem with the pool quickly and were very friendly. I would recommend anyone to go to this store.

Bad advice, agressive and abusive owner. The owner, though claiming 25 years of experience, gives out advice that can actually hurt your spa. He recommended chemicals that are incompatible with my spa, and would have damaged it, and then when asked for clarification, became abusive and agressive about being questioned. Very poor customer service, limited selection, and being afraid of the owners temper makes this, in my opinion, a poor choice. There are other and better local vendors in the west San Fernando Valley for pool and spa equipment and supplies.
