Big Night Out!. One of the things that strikes me about the previous reviews on this site are complaints about cost. Let me illuminate a bit:

Big night out = ~$100+tip, feeds 2, doesn't include drinks

Now, at first glance, that seems a bit pricey. Consider this, however:

4 Courses - Cheese fondue, Salad, Main course (including Lobster, Filet + more, all with excellent sauce choices), Chocolate fondue.

The first time I went here, I asked for a back table (much more secluded) and had a enjoyable, romantic evening that went on for some time...I believe we were engaged in eating and chatting for around 3 hours.

When you compare the cost to what you actually get, it's very reasonable.

Overpriced average food. NO THANKS!. Wow... I must say this place is one of the worst deals out there, period. The server was nice, but talked way too much which was annoying. The food, well.... The cheese was ok with the Au Jus, etc... The atmosphere is nice but a little too dark. The ventilation is terrible as well, I was so mad about smelling like food after eating for 3 hours that were not that enjoyable anyways. I kind of just want to forget that I went. The tuna was very fishy, the scallops were slimey and the dessert was extremely low class, including rice krispy treats, cocoa powder coated marshmallows and a premade cheesecake and to top it off.... IT'S dipped in artificial chocolate! I mean this place is EXPENSIVE! No thank you... I highly recommend that you DO NOT eat here.

Excellent in every way!. I planned a birthday celebration of 14 people for my best friends birthday at the location in Westlake. At first it was a bit confusing to pick the menu in advance but very worth it in the end because the party just happened. We are all ?high maintenance? and had quite a few special requests due to allergies. Much to my amazement they were all taken care of without anyone in the party having to worry or remind them. Our server guided us but did not hinder the party, everything just arrived at the table allowing us to just enjoy ourselves. It was perfect! I was shocked to see the restaurant placed a birthday card on the table for my friend before we arrived, she actually hugged our server because she was so touched. I can not recall a time when a business was so caring about their customers. The food was fantastic, the manager Chris made us feel so welcome. He wished my friend a happy birthday and acknowledged everyone at the table. Everyone at the party had a wonderful time and my friend said it was the best birthday party she ever had. Thank you, we will be back and recommened to all of our friends.

Awful and expensive!!!. I cannot believe how many people will flock to a restaurant that charges so much and offers such below average food? We went last night with another couple, my suggestion ? since we had a gift certificate. I'm still in shock at how bad it was and how much we had to pay for the experience! We had a 7?30 reservation and weren?t seated till 8?30pm. Our server was great. The cheese fondue was fine. But then we made the mistake of ordering dinner. We ordered one vegetable dinner. 20$ gets you a small plate of very standard mix of vegetables (mostly potatoes). And for 90$, you get a small plate of meat, chicken and a lobster tail. The prices are above and beyond what you should be charged for the quality of food you receive. But it was packed ? maybe I missed something?
