Great Experience. Very professonal.. I went to MDS Spa for the first time (For laser hair removal) and I was really surprised. I was greeted by Shirley the RN, a very sweet, polite and professional nurse. She explained me the whole progress and answered all my questions. The treatment went great and I will defiantly return for the next treatment.

Unprofessional, uses weak settings. I bought a hair removal deal from Groupon. On my first visit they made me sign a paper that only Groupon users have to sign saying that Groupon users understand that it may take 8-10 sessions to see results.

I find it fishy that people who pay full price do not have to sign that form. I understand that the number of sessions depends on your skin and hair color, and is indivudual. I went to 2 other hair removal places for a consult before buying my Groupon for MDS

I was told at my other consults that it is common for the nurses administering the laser treatments to use low level settings, so you have to have more sessions than you may need.

Well, after I filled out my paperwork I was brought into the room by the nurse. She handed me a towel and told me to "get naked from the waist down" . She did not leave the room, and watched me undress which was very uncomfortable.

The nurse then went through my chart and asked me if the birth control I was on would interfere with the laser treatment. Um, Hello, your the nurse! Why are you asking me if my medication is going to affect the laser treatment?! I asked the nurse why she would ask me that. Isn't she a nurse, didn't she get training for this?

She finally decided my birth control would not affect the treatment and started. I interrupted to ask her what setting the machine was on. She admitted it was on half strength (10/20). I had to ask her to turn it up all the way.

Maybe the other nurses will be more professional. I hope I didnt waste my money with this. If I need more sessions after my prepaid sessions are used up, I will go somewhere else.

GROUPON BUYERS BEWARE - WASTE OF MONEY. I started coming to this place because I had two Groupons, and I spent hundreds of dollars on those laser hair removal treatments. Everyone seemed nice and friendly at first, but after six months of treatment, I started to notice that all the hair grew back! It looks like I didn't have a single treatment!

So I went to a different laser hair removal center closer to home and found out that MDS was using the wrong laser setting! They use a weaker setting for Groupon purchasers, so that they ensure that you'll have to continue coming in for full-price treatments on the same areas you already had six treatments on! It's a TOTAL SCAM. DON'T BUY GROUPONS FOR THIS COMPANY. YOU ARE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY.

Medical spa. Hello…

I went to this spa and was really surprised at how cozy the place is. Usually I go to a different spa but that one is pretty far from where I live. I really enjoyed visiting at MDS, I received great service at an even better price than I’m used to!

I think their prices ARE generally lower than other spa, depend on the treatment you are looking for of course. I went there for laser hair removal, and got a really good deal. The nurse was great as well as their customer service. I would recommend it highly to others; in fact I’ve already referred a couple of my friends.

Hair Removal. I’ve been going to this place for the past five months, and I’m so happy with my laser hair removal results.. After a while you get used to coming there and seeing all the familiar faces, and it feels warm and inviting. I love nurse Jill who is treating me and I recommended her to all my friends.

Spa around the corner. I’m a mom of three with limited free time. This place was great with accommodating my appointments in a way that best fitted my schedule. Sometime they can even schedule me for the same day in the last minute! I really appreciate their willingness to find the time that works for me. The crew is wonderful and warm, and their treatments are amazing. Prices are reasonable

MDS is the best..... I used to get facials with Noa, which is a wonderful esthetician, and only lately I remembered that they have laser treatments! I decided to start with a small area and go from there. It’s been about three month since I’ve started and I’m already lasering half of my body! I love love love how skilled the staff is and you feel like you are being taken care of! Their open hours allow you to find the perfect time for you. Can’t wait to finish and see my full results.

Really, one of the best facilities I've visited. Last month I came to get my underarm treated, and I was told to come back in 4 weeks. It’s been 4 weeks and I am amazed and how different the growth of the hair is! I heard Laser Hair Removal was great, but seeing results so early?! I could only dream of it! I can’t wait to go back for my 2nd session, I love the ALL people there, everything is done professionally and you feel in good hands!

Great Medical Spa in Woodland Hills!. I heard about this place from a friend of mine, and after been treated with laser hair removal at a couple of other places I was a little skeptical since I had bad results. However from the first treatment at MDS, I could already see a BIG difference! They have a great customer service, professional treating nurses, and a beautiful facility. You have my high recommendations!
