NEVER EVER GO TO AROMA ON VENTURA BOULEVARD IN ENCINO: Be warned that they automatically charge 15% service charge on top of your bill, no matter the size of your party. THEN, they calculate tax on the food and drinks PLUS the 15% service charge. If that's not enough, when you pay by credit card they put a subtotal and another line for gratuity. You could be paying tip TWICE!! How many people actually look at the bill that carefully and will notice that they've already paid a mandatory tip regardless of the quality of service. They are totally ripping people off. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!

Best Food in the Valley. Aroma has the most delicious menu I have ever tried. Every thing I order is phenomenal. The service isn't that great but the food makes up for it.

mmmm yami. small family restaurant.good Food is overly exciting but consistent. Sit outside if you can. take the shakshoka its good moroccan dish

good food, good atmosphere!. This is one of my favorite places in the valley.

1st reason: its open late!- you cant find anything open past 10 pm in the valley.

2nd reason: it has a relaxed environment. People come here to hang out.

You can have a coffee and hang out for hours or eat plenty of food and no one will rush you out.

The selection is HUGE and the food is good.

very fresh. I LOVE this place! The food is fresh and really authentic, as good as my grandmother's. I miss the food in the Balkans but it's ok because I have this place close by. The sarma is good, and the burek and apple pie too

great food and service. the waitresses are very pleasant and nice. so is the food. It is always fresh and tasty. Besides you can go there late at night, sit outdoors and watch people.

tonight at aroma cafe. I was at the aroma cafe tonight. I gotta tell you, the food was great however the server was the rudest I've ever seen in LA. If you're not jewish, you would feel so uncomfortable being there, cuz people sitting around you all of a sudden turn to you and speak in hebrew with you as if if you're there you gotta be jewish. the only time that the server was nice was when I asked for the check and she put a damn smile on her miserable face & that was of course for the tippppp.

anyway, I've been to the one on sunset blvd it's more fun and the staff is very friendly. I would never ever go back to the one in encino.

excellent food, great atmosphere and people. every time I go to Aroma cafe I have a great time. the food is excellent, clean, and very healthy. the staff and people are friendly. the atmosphere is nice and it is great watching groups of friends and families have a great talk and enjoy food together. For a Non-Israeli this is a very nice experience.
