All The Goods In One Place. The only place near me where I can find Cake Monkey (seriously the best sweets on earth) and couple it with scoops of smooth gelato and jolt inducing caramel macchiatos. All awhile I can surf the internet on their free wi-fi to check out the latest fad diet to help me lose all the weight I'm about to gain.

Yummy Gelato...POOR customer service... Cute place..great Gelato! Staff QUESTIONABLE...girls behind the counter were to preoccupied texting & talking with friends at the bar about auditions rather then assisting customers.. Unfortunate, that staff seems so burdened by assisting customers.

Good Italian style ice cream, small portions.... My wife and I go have gone to this ice cream shop plenty of times. The staff is usually friendly and the fact that you can sit outside is a big plus. The ice cream is pretty good, having some of the Italian classics as well as new flavors. The only BIG downside is the price. You would expect a decent size ice cream cup for almost $7, but some of the waiters are rather stingy with the amount they serve...

The other Silverton Sister's upscale neighborhood gelato and coffee bar also features baked goods and sweets.. In Short
Inspired by her annual visit to Panciale, in the Umbria, Gail Silverton set out to expose Angelenos in her area to the la dolce vita Italian lifestyle. The result is her refined yet playfully themed piazza-style sweets shop and coffeehouse. Namesake frozen offerings come in two dozen flavors, such as blood orange, pink grapefruit, cinnamon basil and stracciatella, as well as more traditional tastes. There's also dairy free chocolate and sugar-free versions. Locally roasted coffee comes from Coffee Roaster and Intelligentsia.

Adorable, Favorite New Place. My friend Moe asked to meet me here, I didn't even know it existed. GELATO= YUM and I'm totally an ice cream girl. They have a ZILLION different flavors and the staff is really nice. It's so frickin' cute inside and I've never seen it super busy. Honestly, I don't think the buzz has gotten out yet which will make me sad when it does. But it's my absolute favorite new place... so cute...and TASTY!!! Happy, happy!! Moey, when are we going back???

Best Espresso and Yogurt in Town!. I stop by this place every day after work, and it truly is exceptional. People need to get out of line at Aroma and head over to Gelato Bar to try REAL coffee, with employees that really know their foam. Obviously the gelato is great, but what people seem to ignore is how delicious the pastry's are as well! I really suggest a scoop of gelato and biscoti, or any pastry for that matter. A little pricey, but SO worth it!

Check it out, and discover for yourself.

another great place on tujunga!. forget pinkberry or baskins robbin's 31 flavors, the gelato here is amazing! and dare i say that their espresso is better than next door at aroma? they also have some good scones and other goodies. the staff is always friendly and always willing to let you try a sample or two (or three!)

Absolutely Delicious-o!. This place is such a wonderful addition to this cute neighborhood. The decor is fabulous and the gelato is delicious. They also sell many other treats, including my favorite cupcakes from Leda's Bake Shop. They are open late, so perfect for an after dinner treat. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Very Good Gelato!. The BL00D ORANGE flavor is amazing! I sampled the YOGURT flavored gelato and YOGURT granita and both were very good (this is coming from someone who hates yogurt). I have never been to Italy so I can't compare it to Italy's gelato but I overheard more than one customer say that the gelato was just like the gelato in Italy. The free wireless internet is also nice. Definitely a place to try out.

An additional taste of Italia in my 'hood. Tujunga Ave in Studio City is rapidly becoming LA's very own Little Italy (at last!), what with Caioti Pizza (so-so) and old-skool Italian joints like Vitellos (the death restaurant just ask Bonnie Lee Bakely). Village Gourmet has an array of wonderful imported goodies too.

Now we have a cosy little breakfast and dessert place called Gelato Bar with some of the creamiest and tangy flavors you could ask for. Coconut is so pungent, it makes you feel like Keith Richards... Mango is delicious (if only they had Passionfruit *sigh*)

I was seduced by their Dulce de Leche in a sugar cone ($4.50). Pricey but delicious, I'm going back for a pound of four flavors in a styrofoam container -- $16. Cheaper than the little plastic cups ($3.50 and up), but my thighs may hate me in a few week's time.

If you don't see pistachio (their most popular flavor) it's probably out the back waiting for a free spot.

So creamy, so divine -- so damn close to where I live...
