Best in Spanish cuisine and entertainment!

This is probably the best you can get to authentic Spanish cuisine in Long Beach. The happy hour appetizers and prices cannot be beat. The live music is loud but not deafening. The atmosphere is semi-dark but not obnoxiously so. My favorite is their paella with all the meats. They used to have a Sunday brunch but now it's just a brunch menu. Anyways, its one of the few nicer places to dine on Sunday mornings.
Amazing service, and a meal unlike anything in LB.

An experience not to be forgotten! Sevilla served up amazing plates of hot tapas prepared with the most amazing sauces...I was licking my plate! The servers know all about Spanish food, customs and wines...I really felt like I was being taken on a tour of Spain. I recommend the Black Paella, and you have to try one of their Spanish wines...I had the Faustino. Don't forget to leave room for dessert, their Sevilla Sundae was to die for! Bravo!
- Pros: Most amazing Spanish Wine Selection I've seen!
- Cons: Gets very busy if you don't have a reservation.

Apparently $10 a glass of wine isn't enough..Pay Attention to Extra Charges on Your Bill!!

So, a friend & I decided we wanted to go out for some wine and appetizers. (Note: on a Wednesday night ) .We got there & the waitress came & asked us if we had ever been there before. We told her we had not. They had a long list of Tempranillo's on their wine menu & the waitress described the few offered by glass for me. We chose one each at $10 a glass. We then ordered 4 Tapas. A busboy came by to drop off our waters & asks us if he could bring us some bread. We say, sure why not. The bread was warm but way too hard & crusty. Not even the middle of the loaf had any softness to it. I felt like i needed a steak knife to cut it into pieces to be able to eat it since i could barely tear it with my teeth. Our wine came out, which was great. Then our tapas: the calamari & potato cheese torta were good but not blown away. The green mussels were not that great & The octopus was way over cooked & hard & chewy. So, 2 of the tapas were Ok, & 2 sucked. We then ordered another glass of the same wine each. When our bill came we noticed that 1) Our second round of wine was .50 cents more each glass than the first round & 2) they charged us $4 for the bread!!!! We asked our waitress about this. Her reply was, 'well, bread is a tapas'...we told her that we didn't know that, it was offered to us by the busser & since most restaurants offer free bread we assumed it was. we were never told otherwise. She then gets very annoyed & rudely says, 'well it's on the menu but i'll take it off' as she walks away all huffy. As for the wine? Apparently they charge you .50 cents PER DRINK after 9pm as an entertainment charge. WTF?!? I have never heard of this practice before. The waitress should have told us that as we ordered our 2nd round. If not for this greedy kind of business I would have come back, not for the food but for the wine & music. Thanks to this I will never return. Everyone I told has no intention of going there ever. Absolutely Appalling!
- Pros: Lots of Tempranillos on list, Music
- Cons: Overcharging, Eh Food
