great food, worst service, nice staff, not like seafood, wonderful meal, amazing service and, rude little punk
favorite seafood. This has to be my favorite place to eat in the San Fernando valley. The seafood is good, price for the food, I think can be a bit overpriced if you ask me. Except for the banana pudding! That is by far the best desert i've ever had! The customer service/staff are ALWAYS so friendly. Some times it can get a little packed, but for the most part i've never had to wait too long to get in and start eating, its fairly quick moving for a place like this and the food gets cooked pretty quickly.
Horrible service. Worst service you could ever imagine. They have no sense of putting the customer 1st at all. They try to upsale everything from the beer to the shrimp without any explanation as to why its better to get a bigger glass of beer instead of a regular size. The manager Brad is too busy to come to your table because he has bigger issues to deal with, The server Adam E. is just a rude little punk, and the "manager" Jeremy has no manager skills whatsoever. Doesnt do anything to ease your frustrations as a paying customer. Never again will I go back there or suggest it to anyone that I know.
I'm all for expressing opinions but, it sounds like you may have a vendetta for the particular persons you mentioned. Which makes your comment a little less valid, for me at least. What sort of issues did you have? You're really not giving any details to your situation and mostly just ranting and raving like a mad man.
Tickets Stolen.
I suprised my husband with tickets to Kroqs Christmas concert, I did this during dinner @ Bubba Gump, we left them (accidenatlly) on our table when we left...within 5 minutes we went back to get them and they were gone. The mexican family behind us told us a Host by the name of Tommy was the only one @ the table after we left. My brother in law went to the concert and had seats next to ours, he said a kid who worked at Bubbu Gump (with a Bubba Gump shirt on) was in our seats, he said he had bought the ticket from another employee by the name of TOMMY....I called 2 managers (first Shane then Bradley) and never got a call back...so I called corporate and wes told it would be investigated and she would get back to me,,I never got a call and during a recent visit to Universal City walk we saw Tommy working at Bubba Gump!!! This is not fair and I warn you to watch your purses and belongings when eating at BUBBA GUMP Universal city.

This "Forrest Gump" theme restaurant serves up shrimp and movie memorabilia nationwide..
In Short
With its distressed-wood bar and framed "Gump"-isms, this franchise is teaming with kitschy fun. Chock-full of movie memorabilia, framed still images from the film line the walls while Depression-era props perch on shelves. Expect a piped-in, good-time vibe: Smiling servers quiz diners on movie trivia. Popcorn shrimp, peel-and-eat shrimp, shrimp po' boys--practically every preparation Bubba ever conceived is available in huge portions for not much money.
Awesome Family Joint!. If you are a fan of Forrest Gump, if you like great food, huge portions and amazing service AND have a family...this is the place to go! I have a 3 1/2 year old son and a 14 yr old daughter and they just adore this place. There is so much going on here, the servers are energetic, attentive and scarily peppy! There is always some kind of comotion going on. We just love the movie trivia and the Birthday songs are OUTRAGEOUS. OH and I did I mention the food? You will never leave here hungry--and if you don't like seafood they have a fried chicken plate to die for!! Don't forget to try the Louisiana Lemonade, it is sweet and has a nice kick, and you get a glass! If you haven't been there you must try it
Shrimp, Shrimp and more Shrimp!! Great, friendly guest service with busy atmosphere.. Great shrimps galore ( Go figure ). You can get shrimp in every type of way. Sauteed, steamed, normal, deep fried. I absolutely loved the cajun shrimp and stuffed shrimp. (Hint, if you want faster service, don't order the fried stuff.) but the staff was nice and friendly. Sometimes they do Forrest Gump trivia so I wasn't prepared but made it pleasant.
