huge transformation, not best italian food, pretty good pastas, favorite meal, nice experience, horrible service, amazing recipes
Pasta Pomodoro.
Spaghetti Polpette and Breadsticks are THE BEST :D
Love the vinaigrette and oil dipping sauce that comes with the bread sticks!
Awesome menu with even better prices. The food here is always wonderful. The service is just as good. The best part: the prices! I love having a wonderful meal without having to break the bank. The recipes are amazing, I can't stress that enough.
Wow, I didn't think a place I gave my money to could treat me so bad.... I have gone to the pomodoro many times. Mainly because the spaghetti and meatballs use tiny almost angelhair like pasta instead of the thick stuff most places use. I have gone with my Father in Law and my Husband and the service was horrible. We got a coupon for free dessert but it really sucked that our waitress didn't get our order right nor did she bring out certain dishes in a timely matter. She told us in a polite way to deal with it and of course that's when the manager gave us a coupon. Another time I went again hoping this was a one time thing and got the same type of service. After that I only ordered my spaghetti to go, seeing as how they are so close to where I live but I was treated the rudest I've ever been treated in my life. The food is okay, especially because it's consistent but I have had many problems at this restaurant even while ordering it out, I don't know thier deal but if you want to have a nice experience I suggest you go elsewhere...
Very Cool and reasonable!.
We had dined here before, and were not impressed, but this time around it was like a different restaurant (we heard later that the management had changed), thank goodness, we were trying to impress friends and this was the only thing convinient and open after 10! Amazing around here! My office had lunch catered from here during the holidays, it was surprisingly excellent, I knew it for pasta, but they served marsala, and grilled vegetable salad, salmon and good finger food and a waiter to die for!
The place had a totally different vibe, there was awesome music playing, the place was dim with candles everywhere. Our, again, hot waiter was there before we landed in the booth with bread and this oil and herb stuff they serve with it, which is so amazing (that was the one good memory I had of this place).
I had to do pasta, cause I'm a carb lover, but my friends did steak, chicken picatta, and this seafood stew that was increadible, it was served with garlic bread that I ate!
The wine selection was better than I remember, and all their wines are served by the glass, which I don't think anybody else does. We sampled a bunch!
We shared dessert, a chocolate souflee, and a vanilla custard with strawberries, called "panna cotta" wich I want put in my grave!
I must say, we had a very good experience and stayed there after all the tables had left! The manager came around, we thought to kick us out, but he stayed and talked to us for another 20 minutes!
I'm quite happy this cool Italian joint has changed it's ways so dramatically, I live so close!
The Manager promised an Italian brunch in the spring, I can't wait! Brunch is my favorite meal of the day!!!
ok food and service. Not the best Italian food- ambiance and service are both average. Nothing is really wrong with it, and the pastas are pretty good, but not the place I would go for a special night out.
