AMAZING! Anything you could want!. I order from these guys 1 or 2 times a week and they are wonderful (and they deliver!). I love the Bistro Salad and the Rotisserie Chicken with chili sauce. yummm. The husband loves their taquitos and burgers and brisket. Yummy desserts too. I haven't had the cocktails yet - but the y have some really yummy looking ones.

Definitely all the rage in the area. Very nice people - have met the owner too. Would HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!

Vietnamese Avocado Spring Rolls are Amazing!. The avocado spring rolls are great starters; the soy-based dipping sauce is the key. My boyfriend and I have been to Truxton's several times. Twice there were minor problems with the service during busy times (once we got a free dessert), and I chalked it up to their recent opening. However, I personally never experienced rude servers, so I was genuinely surprised to read the other review. I'm going again tomorrow and bringing friends, so I'll see if the servers have gotten less friendly.

I've always enjoyed the food, especially The Bistro salad. This salad includes romaine, baby greens, roasted butternut squash, feta, cranberries, and toasted almonds. The sharpness of the feta blend well with the sweet squash and tart cranberries. The Tofu Burger is fine (I'm not sure if it's vegan though). The Gilly is a great burger if you're feeling sinful (bacon, cheese, and 1000 Island dressing). I am disappointed in the horseradish coleslaw, as I found it bland.

Avoid the shoddy service. I was excited to see a new restaurant in the Westchester area, but ultimately, Truxton disappoints. The dining room was half filled when I came in, but it still took 15 mins for me to be seated, and another 30 minutes for my order to be taken (I was dining alone.) After 45 minutes of waiting for the food to come out, I asked my waiter what the hold up was, only to be blown off. Finally, 1:15min after my order, they bring out my brisket with none of the side dishes it was supposed to come with (just meant on a plate) and when I ask about them, I was told that the kitchen is busy and he was not the cook. For my 2 hours of time wasted and cold brisket, I was charged $17 (I did get a free coke). I will NEVER go back.

Westchester spot serves classic American dishes, international cuisine, and fusion fare.. In Short
The country cottage decor, set against vast windows, captures a cozy vibe without sacrificing elbow room. Ranging from healthful to sinful, menu items seek to capture the diversity of America's culinary appetite. In addition to worldly dishes like Argentine skirt steak, miso-glazed salmon and Vietnamese avocado rolls, mom-and-pop standards include buttermilk fried chicken and slow-roasted brisket. "Childhood Memories," a stand-out dessert section, features a revamped Hostess cupcake or real Twinkies drizzled in raspberry coulee sauce.
