I now know I don't like Sushi!. I'd never had sushi before and my daughter took me here for my birthday. I really didn't like it. why an earth would anyone want to eat raw fish! UGH! My daugter insisted we try a wide variety of weird and wonderful things from the menu. It wasn't for me but she seemed to have a good time.

The restaurant itself seemed nice enough bit I really do not like raw fish.

Yummy sushi. Definitely a must for sushi lovers! Exquisite tasty sushi morsels done creatively...prices are very reasonable for this quality of food..highly recommended!

nic stuff. Food here is good, just plain good. Now, if you love to drink wine as I do...they have an amazing cabernet sauvignon of wines, I'd say I actually enjoyed that I had to wait to get a table..

the worst service in the history of man kind!. it was my birthday so i called a few friends to join me for sushi, about 8 friends, for happy hour. still waiting for one person to arrive, I was told that my party would not be seated till everyone had arrived. I work in the resturaunt biz, I know why it' like that, but when your resturaunt is practically empty because it is 4 in the afternoon, then seat your f*ing guests,. first of all. then when we got our table we waited about 10 min to get our drink order in than another 20 to get drinks, only one was alcoholic. WTF!!! it's not like it was busy! maybe she didn't care since gratuity was added to the bill at the end of the night. as the crowd grew the service got worse. It took 30-40 min for food. we harldy saw our waitress. the one star is for my phone not getting stollen as I left it there by accident. I will never go there again!!! I had seen reviews about the bad service and ignored them but believe me, it's not worth it.. I'm not sure if it is one server or if that bad serving is part of their ambiance. Either way good food won't bring me back, since by the time I get it, maggots could be hatching since the F-staff doesn't care. tip are earned not a right. go F yourself RA!!!

Great food and atmosphere!. We go here often, happy hour is definitely the way to go. The sushi is awesome, the servers are friendly and accommodating. Happy hour offers $1 sake!!

loved the happy hour!. I have been once but had a great experience and our bill was low...we purposely went for the happy hour. I would like to go next Sunday with some friends but it looks like they do not have a happy hour on Sundays. I will definitely be going again sometime soon!

TERRIBLE Service!. It's a shame that the service here is so bad, because the sushi and starters are so good. I have eaten here when it's busy and when it's not, and the service is always extremely slow. You have to constantly wave down the servers. I actually had to wait 20 minutes for my bill on a recent visit. I personally won't be back any time soon. I'll just have to find another sushi spot.

Great place to hang out with friends, but not dine.. The restaurant itself is lively and picturesque, but the food is below average. I've been to many sushi restaurants all through-out California, but Ra did not strike me as anything amazing. To be honest, I've been to buffets that serve better sushi than Ra. I've heard of getting what you pay for in terms of food, but here you will not see that rule applicable. You will get a rich and divine atmosphere, but the quality of food is very poor (pieces will fall apart as you try to eat them; the sushi's shape is rectangular and barely holding shape due to lack of structural integrity, the flavor escapes you and all you can taste is the unflavored rice.

I will not return to this place, even if I am invited by friends.
