In Short – Formerly Denim Doctors, this family-run Old West motif shop with the vintage pop bottle window display specializes in vintage jeans, hesher concert tees, corduroy OP shorts and chunky leather belts and cowboy boots. The real action is in the back room, where brilliant seamstresses restore shredded denim to make favorite old jeans wearable again, via hemming, altering or tapering. Everything is pressed and sorted by size.

Before going to this place, I checked them out on this site and the reviews were awesome. However, after doing business with them, I suspect that they may have been written by the business itself. The price I was quoted to repair a torn pocket and a hole in the leg was very high but I thought you get what you pay for and asked them to do the work. I was told, as in one of the reviews, that it would take a week to do the job. It took THREE long weeks to do what they themselves said was a "simple repair". After hearing bunch of excuses (apparently the person that does repairs doesn't work there every day or whatever) I finally got my jeans back and literally went into shock. The quality of work SUCKED. No other word for it. The hole repair was terrible. When I dropped my jeans off for the repairs, I was ASSURED that repairs will be "nearly invisible". Well, they are quite visible, even from far away. When I tried to complain, I was rudely cut off and told that this is in line with the quality of repairs they perform. OMG!!! I was so shocked and upset, I literally started crying. The girl just walked away and would not even turn her head in my direction. This is place is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. I went to another place and had the pocket reattached, but the shody repair to the hole could not be undone. In the end, the jeans (one of my faves) are in the back of the closet. I cannot wear them because of the tacky repairs to the leg and just looking at them reminds me of my HORRIBLE experience with this DUMP. There are other places in the city that can do a much better job for less money and less stress. DON'T GO THERE unless you want to get taken!!!
- Cons: expensive, poor quality, unreasonably expensive

I live in Santa Barbara and shipped 2 pairs of my favorite jeans to Denim Revival to mend a couple of holes in them. They did a superb job and even reinforced in places I hadn't thought of. The staff was friendly and the turnaround time was about a week from the time they received the jeans and we discussed the repairs. I will use them again and spread the word.
- Pros: Friendly professional service
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
They raise your favorite heavenly jeans from the dead!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I paid $60 per pair and they turned my D&G bellbottoms into straight legged 7s - exactly the way I wanted them, right down to the seams. The width of the leg is exact, down to the millimeter. It's like getting a whole new jean wardrobe. I truly worship Denim Revival. They are specialists extraordinaire! Plus, they have parking in the back. And they take Amex. What more could you want??? Hallelujah!
- Pros: Perfect tailoring, great service, timely, parking in the back
- Cons: NOTHING!!
