I had a bad experience with Ken Flora. American Capital Funding Group and broker, Ken Flora, made gross oversights handling my home purchase. First, Ken Flora and his staff provided incorrect financial info on the loan documents. He grossly overstated our net worth and wrote the incorrect ethnicity and residency status of my wife. Very sloppy.

Second, Ken Flora suggested a method of financing with PMI for only a short period, by a higher downpayment and leveraging the high home appraisal. It backfired. The extra money we put down left us no better off.

Third, Ken Flora underestimated our settlement costs substantially. When he emailed me the final numbers on closing day, we needed $4731.55 more. Wow.

I have a low opinion of Ken Flora and American Capital Funding Group. I credit him for offering to subsidize the PMI, but his negligence leaves me bitter.

I am the first to write a review here. Any bunch of good reviews after mine are likely attempts by them to inflate the low rating I gave them.
